The AAL bid came about early, possibly due to a leak as noted. Hence the forthcoming RNS and the doom and gloom we now find ourselves in.

It has not been made as a formal offer, nor has it actually been recommended.

My thinking is, if there is genuinely no other choice this is it, take it or be forced too, then surely that should count as price sensitive info and be declared by the bod, if they know this to be fact.

The fact that we haven't heard anything else 2 days after the fact leads me to think they could.. Just maybe be working on something else.

Either way, I want to know and won't crystallise my loss until I am absolutely sure.

Me too yellow, not the result we wanted but the complete radio silence from the bod intrigues me.

I'm holding until a formal offer is made and my hand is forced, or the very unlikely chance of something better coming through the pipeline.

The small amount of money I will recoup if we get 5.5p will allow me to rebuild, thankfully I'm young enough to have time for this.

Fully aware I may come away with nothing, but that's a chance I'm willing to take.

No confirmed bidder Indeed, also no idea what the BOD are up to and who they are talking to. All this talk that Fraser has thrown us under the bus, he hasn't actually done anything, as of yesterday we where all still discussing a halo partner. AAL have merely expressed an interest, and thrown a meger figure out to shake the market up and test the water.
There is still time, anything could happen.
I am sitting on the fence until the 11th hour. And I do expect to see other big players coming out of the woodwork, it's not just PIs that get greedy.

I would not be suprised if we see another 7am RNS from another interested party in the not to distant future.

I don't think AAL would keep the offer on the table if Sirius didn't word it this way. The word I'm hanging on is "expects", they have not said they do recommend. Leaves the door open a crack in my humble opinion.

Agreed Aus, a gut feeling but I don't think this is as bleak as everyone has made out. Saddened to see some of the regular contributors here jumping at the first sniff of a takeover. I am astonished that nobody really thought this may happen. It ain't over till its over.

I understand and agree ibab, I am suprised a bid was not made sooner. I'm not jumping straight away, I will wait, the decision may be made for me in the meantime. But I can't believe nobody else is going to want to have a say in this.

To many people reacting, this isn't happening imminently, it's an open offer. Hold the line, this is now our worst case scenario, something else could still come out of the woodwork. I believe this will prick up the ears of other interested parties.
