George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Morning all.not been much to say im afraid, although i do of course, endorse fully all the justified animadversions directed at the PBOD over the last few days.presumably we will get a profit warning in next couple of weeks(last year 17th feb)don't expect any detail ,but we may perhaps glean some idea of developments from any change in the amortisation rate.if it increases it will presumably indicate lack of good news on china/us progress.anyway,we will see.
Is a poultry sum what is meant by "chickenfeed"?
No idea what hardwell is trying to suggest. toshiba was taken private following a tender offer by a japanese consortium.toshiba shareholders were paid $14 billion by the consortium.apparently there were 8 previous buyout offers before the successful one.
Very interesting.the RNS wording is pretty standard regarding seeking legal advice.be very surprised if there are any grounds to reject the request, which is very much a simple procedure under company law provided the requisite percentage requesting the same is met. expect to be notified of the date of the meeting very shortly. disclaimer, not currently invested but have followed the saga here for a long time.no idea how this will be perceived by the market, but may actually be seen as positive in the long term.
Well at least his reply demonstrated the full extent of his articulateness and intellectual capabilities! a shining (not sure I've spelled that quite right) example to us all!
Very much agree with that.would be very surprising if the rest of the deal did not go through(although i accept that nothing is ever absolutely certain)
Problem is we don't know the precise nature of the claims
personally i doubt the lapse f time here would be any barrier to a claim in principle.there may perhaps be specific time limits for bringing certain claims, but presumably that will have been considered by his lawyers when formulating the claims.rhere may well be some substance ,however,in the point about his own conduct being partly(or even wholly)responsible for whatever loss he is alleging.impossible to say until we know the details.
Pleased to see MI Chelverton fund taking just under 4% stake.
Casey,im on Hl and have certainly not received any tokens direct.i haven't heard from HL for some time, when they were saying they were in discussions with napster to try and resolve the issue.i suspect it may simply prove impossible for those on the regular platforms like HL to receive the token as tokensand the best i am hoping for is that some form of buyback of our entitlements can be negotiated so we receive some cash instead.i hasten to emphasise this is just my opinion and may be entirely wrong.also i do recall some posters (at least one anyway)saying they had,in effect, bypassed their provider and obtained tokens direct from napster, but i think this was very much a one off and that platforms have requested napster not to allow this in the future.im saying this from memory(not so good at my age im afraid)and haven't checked back over the posts from several months ago,so please don't quote me on this.
Fair enough DRM.i take your point, but hopefully this is something which will be addressed by fum and haleon when they launch in us, as i'm sure they will be anxious and determined to protect their market. let's see what happens.
DRM72,not quit sure how the suggestion that Barder isn't bothered about bogus sites etc, ties in with his statement in the interview that as of the previous evening they had taken down 580 sites.seems to me that suggests they are being very proactive in that respect.also pleased to note his comments that as the product is rolled out in more countries the scope for ,or likelihood of ,unauthorised or bonus sites will diminish.
I have to say Barder looked very chipper indeed in the interview. best I've seen, which of course you would expect.
Yes,for me the more important RNS yesterday was the news about stifel.t he operational update was very welcome (particularly confirmation of the forthcoming 10 countries launches), but the appointment of stifel was, imo, more significant. corporate action on the horizon!
The appointment of Stifel as joint broker is the most significant news imo. potentially a harbinger of future corporate event. of course, the statement about future forthcoming launches is also highly significant and very encouraging.
Very much agree with that,TDH.
Been on at least 3 times so far this morning(could be more as im not actually glued to the screen).clearly they have relaunched the tv advertising as it was absent i think for a period.have also seen it on great movies channel.
Just been on gb news again.it does have a caption saying "available without prescription", which surely makes it pretty clear?
Morning bignose, can't disagree with any of that. dire s/p movement over last few days. no news from DLI (tweets or anything).woeful performance.doubt there is any way back now.
It does indeed 81lucky.i had overlooked this reference and it is hard to interpret it as anything other than indicating physical retail presence in store.however,im still not sure about matters. canadian pharmacy appears to be solely an online site.not completely sure and happy to be corrected if it does have physical outlets. also the website seems to emphasise that it is a site for us residents to buy more cheaply than they can in the us.its quite interesting to read their legal disclaimers and conditions of purchase.also they state that products are sourced from affiliates who get them from authorised sources in various jurisdictions(including UK and europe).so a lot of uncertainty here.but i entirely agree that imperative that the situation is addressed by fum and its licensees asap. the reference to l-arganine is particularly annoying as this is something which is contraindicated for people with e.g. kidney problems. of course, eroxon does not contain it and any reference to it strengthens the case for seeing this as an unauthorised and illicit (and probably illegal) attempt to take advantage of what is hopefully proving to be a very popular product.bearing in mind the nature of eroxon and the market in which it operates, i don't think anyone should be surprised by illicit marketing, which is something that all pharmas have to deal with at some time.whilst i don't necessarily subscribe fully to the maxim that imitation is the highest form of flattery, i do find it interesting that some organisations are prepared to bend the rules etc,to further a commercial opportunity.
apologies for the prolixity.
on a more straightforward note.just seen advert again on GB news. gla
ps,just advertised it again on gb news whilst i was typing. this.twice in about 15 mins.
Good point about pre launch publicity! let us hope so.
