You can almost guarantee that the next RNS will have caveats that will suppress the SP. ( like it's always done) ...........This is after all Petro Matad we are talking about here.

3-4p could be years off the way the last 8 years have gone. I'm not confident about getting all my money back here anytime soon !

Clearly many here are newbies and ramping like mad, but spare a thought for the many LTH's who have patiently waited for years, and years and years ( myself 8 years !! )

If a Farm out doesn't happen soon/this year it'll be curtains for sure, Matad disappear and a lot of money lost. I'll probably hold 6 more months and if the SP is in this dreadful range that it's been in for years then i'll take the hit and move on. Something here just aint right.

Added another tranche too at £3.52........will sit back and watch it play out over the coming months. Easy money to be made if patient.

Looking back at historical trade this morning, first bought in back in the £12 days and sold for small gains. Traded it 4/5 times since.

Back in today at £3.75, lets see where it goes in the next 3-6 months

Let's hope they're ready to go in April and not July !!!!!!

Patience wearing thin.

Aarrrgh........sold some yesterday (£650 profit for a 5 day trade) but gutted I went to early. Still holding 1000 free shares so nice to still see those rising

Tend to agree with most of what Master82 says to be fair.

Let's be honest, it's not been good for long term investors. We are all here to make money and as it stands at the moment we ain't. I've been here since 2018 and not made a bean and still significantly down. If we ever get to 3p ( b/e for me ) I'll get my £27k back at least and won't look back.

Made more on gold stocks in the last week than anything from MATD in 8 years !! Think many out there need to open their eyes to the fact this is not playing out like we all hoped.

That 217,889 buy at 8.20 was my top up and it's showing as a sell !! Over 1 million shares now and ave at 2.75p. Fingers crossed.

Droverman .....I too remember when Desire turned Oil to water !!!.....that was one disaster of mine, then it was Rupert at Xcite who shafted shareholders there to... another Oil disaster stock for me........Been in Matd since 2018....hoping 3rd time lucky !!!

Happy to see the rise and have a nice holding here, but was hoping to load up again with sale of rental property. Unfortunately solicitors put paid to that with a very long drawn out process which will take place now this week Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Was around £14 when I wanted to top up.......... Grrrrr.

As a long term holder and like many sitting on a loss, it's nice to see things starting to go in the right direction. Will only get excited if/when we hit 3.2p ( my ave on a £28K holding ).

H2 needs to come in, sort the monies withheld/ tax, and get a Farm out over the line....that should do it.

Can anyone off the top of their head recall the well sizes for Gazelle v Heron in terms of oil in place ?

Lovely to wake to a great update from MB.

Been here since 2018 and topped up many times but still need 3.6p to break even. Confident that that will be acheived.
