Hi all, i know many on here have seen and commented on small trades, especially the 1 share trades :-) And how that isnt worth it as the fees outweigh the cost of the share.
I have a barclays account, and that is true, you wouldnt ever buy say 47 shares (9:09:46am) as its not woth spending £3.90 if your fees are much more than that.
Those 47 shares @ 9;09am are my buy, but i used Trading 212, ive just downloaded this on my phone, and there are no fees.
By the way, the 47shares rounded my holding in 212 up to the nearest thousand, im not that much of a tight wad :-)
Might be handy for some of you?
Hope that info helps. DYOR and all that.
There were certainly some legendary posts... who was the bloke who used to rattle on, sat there with a bottle of chateau de Shat-eau, rubber bands bloke?
I wonder if he`s now sat on a park bench with a bottle of white lightening, wishing he sold up at a £5 er.
This evening i am looking at the sunset, the sun sinking over the slides and swings, sipping a tepid cheeky little apple number from a slightly sharp plastic bottle neck.....
