In the Times today, short snippet about the state of Iowa launching a review to regulate online gambling for the casinos based there, this is where I would hope 888 could take advantage using their b2b business if the review is a success

Good find. I'm a little bit disappointed we didn't see a higher close, stealth will be happy! I guess everyone is being put off by the mail story, but lets see, from memory we are still below the price pre-takeover, if Ladbrokes doesn't have them then another will or there is no reason why they can't go forward themselves.

The points your raise are exactly why I am in (again), this is what differentiates 888 from some of the other online companies - their B2B offering. I'd also like to know Stealth's arguement for why the American's won't open up gaming any time soon, they have huge debt and generating taxes from gaming revenue seems to be a good arguement for why they will open things up

I'll be checking the press over the weekend, hopefully something surfaces, but from what I saw earlier there were some decent buys going through

Thanks for the feedback. I thought green companies were the future and got stung on TAN (although this was a tip from an unreliable source when I started out trading, I'll never do that again!). I still think coal has a role to play, but yes we should see the rise of some green companies, needless to say I shall be checking out WAS while I'm at the aiprort tomorrow, GL.

Dear Wasabi followers, I am sat in a Japanese restaurant in Rio on my tod, have laptop out, clicked on the midas section of the daily mail to look up a story anout 888.com and as I am putting some salmon with wasabi sauce into my mouth the story about this company appears, looks like something is telling me to buy in, weird eh? What's the outlook anyone, would you buy? Will do my own research, just can't beleive how I've come across this company!!!

Some decent sized buys going through today at 58p, I wonder if some more news is coming? I did get out back at 49p before the retrace and then the takeover news, just thinking about whether to get back in, especially if the takeover bid is going to come in at 70p. Still more speculation about too about the US opening up.

I've been watching this share for a while and I nearly got in at 155p, but I was wondering how all of this bad weather could effect their sales, for example I was meant to go to Sandown races last wkend but it was cancelled. Any thoughts?

could be the buys being made by gartmore and co as per recent rns. things must be ok as they paid a dividend recently and then there were the director buys earlier this year at 70p

I knew of another company that brought in joint advisors and that ended up leading to a rights issue / fundraising and diluted the share price. I'm also mindful of the fact that 888 cancelled the dividend, so am I doing 2+2 and making 4 or is it 5?

Money Week have featured TIG in Friday's edition under gamble of the week, saying that this stock looks cheap for a firm with strong prospects. however there is a legal dispute running in the background in Canada, Allstate Insurance of Canada has filed a £47m lawsuit against them (doesnt say why), but TIG also has a counter claim for half this. They mention that TIG would be an ideal takeover target, but this legal case is a bit bothersome.
