This one has sucked a lot of people in over the years with the constant takeover story!
Most people started small but then many increased their holdings at the peaks because of FOMO, they got caught out, and then tried to average down to get themselves out of a hole.
You only have to read the board to realise how bad a stock this is.
Stupid people, talking up their holdings and then getting caught out as liars.
You kind of hope they are liars because anyone with a decent size holding is most definitely a sucker.
Red knight is one of the worst, the amount of buys he claimed to have made in the late teens and mid 20,s but miraculously has an average of 11 now..
I bet his total holding isn’t far off what he says (inflated by 30%) it’s just the fact it’s at twice the price he says it is, and until he posts a screen shot of his full holding you shouldn’t believe a word he says.
I am not sure if he is trying to convince himself or others, probably both, but ask yourself, if somebody is so sure about their investment why would they make over 100 posts a month about it! If you really were so confident you would just be getting on with your life safe in your choice and conviction.
But what really highlights the suckers, it’s people talking about life plans on the back of “this ship coming in”…
Imagine your future life plans being dependent on a bet like solgold…
It’s a bit embarrassing but to be honest more than anything it’s actually a bit sad.
Real wealth is typically built over long periods of time on sound boring investments not on get rich quick (or very slowly in this case) casino style punts! This stock is at best a punt, and at worse a wealth reducer in both capital and opportunity cost for that initial investment.
They will tell you there is a buyer imminent, they will tell you the share is being manipulated because of some master plan, but this master plan never materializes.
Then if the stock price goes up a little they will tell you this is the start of it, not long now, wouldn’t want to miss out, but when it goes down it’s all part of the master plan again.
They well tell you the SP doesn’t matter because it’s irrelevant when this gets bought but then in the next post hope for a penny rise by the end of the week.
This goes on, year after year! In the mean time sensible investors are taking 7% dividends and getting 5-10% compounded growth on real equites.
One day this might be sold, but ask yourself if it couldn’t be sold when money was cheap and the economy was strong why would it sell now when money is very expensive and the economy isn’t strong.
Fortismo will tell you the guys at the top have massive options so something must happen, but for every director who gets his ticket punched on a sale I can show you a thousand who it never happened for.
Others will talk of verified rumours, inside information etc.. and the next week the same posters who are
