If I give him the benefit of the doubt he had a genuine dream and sold it to investors .
Worse case he just ramped it up to get investors on board for the early stages.
Personally, I think it’s the former not the later. He had a dream and then in 2019 realised he was out of his depth. That said, to get As far as he did (on his own without a major) was an achievement, surely?
Maybe that’s the way he is looking at it.
Take a step back and imagine someone telling you down the pub this crazy idea of making a 100 year producing mine a mile under a park with a 20 mile tunnel to ship the stuff out from a port created at the coast. Plus he is going to patent a new form of fertiliser pellet to make it more saleable....... All without any real major investors......
Actually maybe he did well to get it this far, the issue is too many people bought into the story.
