Maybe I shouldn't be, but I am very surprised that there haven't been any rumours in the last 6 weeks. Not even a sniff of one.

It does sort of blow my takeover theory out of the water.

It will turn out OK IMO, there is material upside from this level. We just need a plan which will increase sentiment in the share and provide new prospective investors upside from the current level. Simples.

A few people have said this over the last few weeks, SXX is priced to fail currently, therefore there is good upside if CF produces to proverbial rabbit.

I try my best to do it, but it can be hard :-)

I find it can take some of the frustrations out of holding a share for a long period to time. I've tried to be too greedy in the past and looked back and regretted it, so this is just what works for me, best of both worlds.

I only use a pot of about 5%-10% of my investments to 'play' with 4 to 5 of these sort of high(er) risk shares., so overall exposure is relatively low, but you can see some nice returns!

Chancers, one good strategy is to split your holding into two pots, trade one, hold the other.
Alternatively, in the case of a sudden increase (spike) take profit on the way up to cover your initial investment and then just play with the profit in a no lose scenario :-)

It's very easy to write that but much harder to actually do! Just my views.

Mattyman, that did make me chuckle. My earlier comment on re-rate was slightly tongue in cheek given a couple of very excited emails I SAW LAST NIGHT, but I did hope that the RNS would stimulate some volume today, looks like we may be over the 3m av, but by no means a high volume day.

Personally, I don't see share manipulation (no more than normal) or lack of shares being available, bottom line is that the RNS did not motivate a herd of new investors to come on board or existing investors to increase their holdings. Minimal press coverage, minimal social media excitement. Bar a very well written poem, it was a bit of a damp squib (or, damp squid,as someone on the SXX BB called it this month :-) )

Let's hope we see a steady increase towards the next news date and if that news in positive then hopefully we see more interest in the share.

Not surprisingly it's the same list of factors KOH wrote out earlier today. I don't think we should be too surprised, not that it changes anything, just one side betting against the other.
