Just to break it down for you, I have a tremendous amount of empathy for people who have grown-up and have been subjected to the type of dysfunctional environment I was made privy. On that list includes single mothers raising kids with no support from their deadbeat fathers, Victims of domestic violence and abuse, Carers, those with disabilities and so on, but unfortunately that list stops some way short of militant unions and able middle-aged men who have consciously chosen to spend decades entry level positions.

And the last time I did my due diligence on you @ispy you held 81 shares, yes EIGHTY ONE SHARES TOTAL.

In all of your posting history you have one trade in RMG for around £12k when you bought around @1.90 in 2019, you sold or two later for a 10 % profit @210 or thereabouts, a month later on election date the price was @257.

For all your 30 year experience you have made less on this stock than others here have made in a day.

I have done my due diligence on you in the past and connected all the necessary dots, now I basically just post from memory.

One memory is you directing one of your great insights to @Scamp in September 2020 mocking him and other holders and telling him and them, they could have sold @211 and should sell while he can, after a price dip. Nine months later the price was trading over £6.

This is just a repeat of what you did in November 2018, your gamble in Valirx deteriorated to almost nothing so you re-appeared on this board trolling and mocking all the actual investors and holders oh here, on a repetitive daily basis.

I also put myself through Uni and paid for all my professional exams by taking on weekend work outside of my normal 9-5 work and that's why I am as you alright Jack.

UPS has posted it's Q3 figures and the Dow has responded well, and the price has had a little lift upon the open of US market.

I really have no interest in politics, and i'm sure if I was with Dave Ward right now he would be telling me that the Posties are the lifeblood of the community and that they kept the country connected through COVID, and they deserve an inflation proofed pay-rise and better terms and conditions.

At the end of the day in a democracy everyone can get the job they want to, If they work hard enough and make enough sacrifices when they're younger to further themselves via education or training apprenticeships etc.

You a staunch Labour supporter and I understand your perspective and point of view, I just don't agree with it.

There is nothing preventing any employee taking on training courses and exams to further there careers, if not paid for by the employee they could have paid for them personally. The fact someone is happy and comfortable staying in an entry level position for decades is not the fault of the employee.

@Derek, Yes companies will do that and employees should learn to expect that from their employer.

Hence, why people that get ahead tend to change jobs when the learning or training stops.

The company should not allow it and should probably provide better training programs and those who do not partake should really be shipped out.

It's bad management from the top down, and lazy employees from the bottom up.

Royal Mail could and should still offer a job for life, just not one as lazy-ass Postman.

@Derek, and that's why it's an entry level position and we have all been there, only most do not stay in that type of position for any length of time and choose to further their prospects by going on training courses etc.

Postman poverty is self-inflicted in many cases because they have chosen to stay in an entry level position through adulthood into middle-age and then on to retirement.

I have little sympathy for a grown ass man working an entry level position unless they have some kind of disability.

@Derek For an entry level position, it's far from poverty wages, the problem is with staff taking the **** and staying in the same job for decades because they know they can steal a living by boosting up their paid hours.

I observed my own postman during Covid, he was a total time-waster, looking for anyone to talk to so he could kill a few hours.

Thankfully, he's gone now, probably retired to an island in the Bahamas what with all the ghost hours he was claiming. Add-in the pension, share scheme and possible VR package and I can see why they're out on strike otherwise they might have to get a real job, with Uber or Amazon.

That's too bad @Derek because UK Royal Mail are currently paying £25k per year basic salary for middle-aged men to deliver junk mail 3-4 days a week.

That's an expensive inflexible waste of time, when you consider that some companies pay youngsters £10-20 for a similar shift.

@Dowsie Surely they could all just watch a documentary about the miners strike or one about Blockbuster and Kodak or any other company that failed to innovate, or became too expensive to function as a going-concern.

Outside of special deliveries or a premium same day service, I don't think anyone except for the Posties would really be that disappointed about receiving their mail once or twice a week, The Strike and Covid has actually been preparing the general public for this eventuality for a while now.

What is going on with the parcel hubs are they not online yet ? Once they're online and some genius develops reliable delivery drones, it will be #timesup for most of them anyway, natural attrrition.
