The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
A view most definetely...
Sorry if you feel I was overreacting, I dont think I was, but like all holders I'm slightly concerned at the fall, however I felt that a degree of negativity at the small drop today was a bit OTT towards Penstock personally.
Probably I am a bit sensitive.... apologies! ...sleeping dogs and all that!.

Hereshopin, thats a rather selective extract of what was actually said.
"I don't think it will sink or even that it can sink any lower than 24p" is what was actually said and in my opinion was definitely not a prediction.

All,
I feel like a tiddler on this BB having read of some of the holdings that are out there amongst PIs,
I've got 100K shares, and I've just broken even.
Hoping you LTHs with significant share volume get the outcomes you're after. If you do, so will I.
ATB
Beardozer.
I'm still buying down at these low levels.
I wasn't in at IPO and did buy on the way up.
With hindsight I shouldn't have bought at those levels.
This drop back has allowed me to get my average down to a level that in my opinion will quite literally pay dividends and benefit from the growth that full production will bring.
I just hope that I'm not going to suffer from hindsight again in a year's time.

Breaking even in first year of operation doesn't sound too bad, so I will take that.
My expectations were raised following some very bullish commentary early doors and then reality kicked in with sale by JS and met coal price decline and it became clear that the actual implementation of the operation was going to be behind our own perceived schedules.
I've just topped up again on the basis that we are getting closer to fully operational and I didnt expect to get them at this price now.
Even I can see that the logisitcs of getting your product to your customers the key to seeing the SP increase.
I'm sure the BC team are across this and not just sitting back waiting for NS to get to site, but remember we are a customer also of NS so hopefully they will be doing all they can to meet their customer's needs, I just wonder how they are pricing their services to their customers when the demand for rail delivery is increasing.

Morning all posters, once again some decent camararderie being expressed.
Hoping for an upturn in information, and holding still in hope of an end to hostilities and a resolution between both parties which allows EUA to resume normal communications and get a deal done.
GLA and Happy Birthday Les
I'm not a mining engineer but I would think that a basic efficiency will be obtained in deployment of ancillary services.
I set of yellow iron supporting 2 miners in the same location.
Welfare, generators, etc.
It may be that the larger area is easier to work, so why work more problematic areas when met coal is lower price, do it when the price is higher.
Just my thoughts, but it's the basis of any workplace, efficiencies need to be found at all times to maximise profit, and to them there is safety to consider, the larger area may be safer and pose less risk.

Garonne, Explain lack of talent in Labour party Versus Liz Truss, Kwazi Kwarteng and the tories, where was the talent within the Conservatives to recognise that LT was vacuous, ideologically flawed, enjoyed being a political hand grenade, Christ how many of the tory MPs voted for her ???
Talent pool in the Tory Party has been exposed as being paper thin, self agrandising and very self serving.
Yet the reason not to have a labour party is they lack talent....Christ its no wonder we are in a mess.
Who crashed this market.....the Tories not Liz Truss.
National day of action required to force this lot to see sense,
I'm not generally a believer in conspiracies, but the whole Liz / Kwazi special fiscal event seems to have only benefitted people in the markets.
Cabinet didn't know it was coming.
It was found out to be damaging to the point that BoE had to intervene.
Kwazi ( an ex employee / acquaintance of Crispin Oddy ) is then sacked.
Liz tries to tough it out and in no time she's out.
Rishi said she was deluded to think her policy would work but the members thought it would.
Who benefitted?????
RAK,
I can't profess to understand the workings of the stock market in detail but its only 90 trades that has got the share here today, as soon as "the news" we are expecting lands I'm sure there will be more demand for our shares and more trades will take it back towards your target price.
Good luck and if it's any consolation I'm down about the same amount.
GLA
Penstock big pat on the back for the last narrative on the situation as you see it.
I think you Bens Creek Group should add you to the payroll and put you in charge of communications.
I appreciate you're spending more time on the facebook page and I would encourage any investor to check it out. There are locals in the group and they seem keen to share their knowledge and experience of the operations mainly through photos, and for me it creates a better experience of my investment.

down 33% at 20 as I type.
Im staying put, samll holding and confident this will rise back on the good work thats been going on in DX
It's good to have a good feeling about posters, I've been taken in a few times but I honestly feel there are a good bunch on here at the moment.
Thanks Penstock for all your extra curricular activities.
I have a fair degree of faith this will be heading in the right direction and I'm sure the big investors are in it for the dividends.
Imagine having 75% of all the profits at 10p per share? Speculating on what they've all paid I know , but if divis become regular on production the SP will rise as a result, but I hope to hold for the divis.
