Perhaps were over analyzing the return to service.

They RNSd that HWM was expected back in service on 21st, therefore I would only expect an RNS if it wasn't.

But then again we do need to be careful with RNS interpretation, considering the last few.

I don't have any doubts about what Penstock provides for the majority of LTHs and readers of this BB, but all DYOR and dont take my word for it.

Other posters I must admit ( and people could say it about me - but I would hope not ) come on the BB and dont post any comment on a company's actual activity and only seem to ask lists of tedious questions that dont not have any meaningful influence on knowledge of what is actually happening., its just noise of muffled ramblings.

I've learnt a hard lesson on these BBs and that is that they are full of people who are very interested in their own investment / dealings / wages / job retention-promotion capability. This in my view means I need to be careful that I dont rely on the BB for all my information.

Take from that rambling what you want, but Penstock, please keep feeding what snippets of intel you get (insider dealing in mind though).

I'm sure most LTH on here have a very similar view on your output.

So its later this month that the HWM is operational again. But Mid August is possibly 10th to 20 August if you look at it in thirds so still could be this week.

Hope any jungle drums might see confirmation sooner rather than later.

Good luck Banzai, I'm in as much as aI can be, BC forms a significant part of all my investment portfolio across ISAs and SIPPs, Average is as low as I can get it without significantly more investment so that's it for time being.

When price rally's I will feel more comfortable, but I'm in now for the wait for infrastructure investment around the world.

Big kahuna, My level of investment here supports your general opinion, but I wont pretend that I haven't got a strong eye on that coal price.

I'm a firm believer demand for steel and coal will increase and I agree that Avani would be a better weather guage of the futures market than me, but I would feel more comfortable when it actually is realised.

Big kahuna, I understand your thought process, but it does indicate the potential downside of Met coal investments in general if other businesses are taking these sort of decisions.

Obviously for the workers I would prefer the Metcoal business to be thriving and them to be employed.
