Also decided to vote for the proposals of Mr. Spencer: I hold about 0.7%. Essentially this decision was based on the considerable investment of Mr. Spencer in the company more than anything else, it is incredibly frustrating how little information the current board have provided on cash flow to be generated from the company’s assets, and how the company plans to develop this year and in the future.
Mr. Spencer I wish you good luck tomorrow.
To test why I whacked on order in for a top up of 500,000 shares and wasn’t that surprised to see a huge sell very shortly after!
I believe there to be an error on the TR1 statement issued today. It states Peter Spencer’s shareholding previously was 2.76% but according to the last TR1 for him on Nov 5th his position was actually then 7.24%. Sarah’s position according to the last TR1 for her was 2.76%. Between them with the additional purchases by Peter their joint position is now 10.87%, or 112,521,946 shares.
This has been a disappointing day to say the least. I cannot understand how what seemed to be a fairly simple convertible loan note process to build up MNRG’s holding (and control) in Brit NRG has gone wrong and I can only hope that legally things go in our favour. I’ve not given up on what we thought was ours and hopefully this can be resolved fairly quickly. Great to see Peter Spencer still believes in the company.
Great points made here all round. It remains my opinion that even just our share of the currently producing oil assets are worth the bulk of our current £3.9m market cap alone, not including Whisby 7 / Newton potential, Gold Ridge, Eqtec or anything else.
Bought yesterday with ii, No problem. Like quite often happens my top-up showed as a sell on here. 0.408
I don’t believe they have offloaded, they still have 9.75% between them. We’ve seen some notifications of their holdings as a pair and some in their own names. They did hold about 17% at one stage between them, but they’ve lost percentage holding through the new shares issued since March.
Yes agree with RodRod, their shareholding remains the same at just over 100m, but their percentage holding falls due to the recent dilution, down to 9.75% from 10%. They had about 17% before the £2.3m issue, and I think bought most of their shares at a substantially higher price than today. So it is quite encouraging that they have continued to add in recent months.
There may be a seller but if so you’d have thought they could have reduced more heavily when we were at 0.8p a few weeks ago. They had plenty of opportunity.
It will be interesting to see what the eventual shareholdings look like following the recent placing, previously around 35% was held by either Directors or the Spencer family.
It has been encouraging to see the large buys over the last couple of days, but we were firmly in bargain territory below the placing price. Well done to anyone getting in below 0.6p.
Good luck everyone
Just voted with the board, am very much encouraged by the message on Twitter advising holders to vote. Clearly it matters to them. Good luck everyone.
Current we have 508m shares in issue. The placing adds 385m to that, so 893m in total.
Assuming SP remaining consistent at say 0.75p, and no other changes, MC would increase to about £6.7m.
Great to see yesterday and today.
A decent amount of this seems to be in sticky hands. We know about the 35% either the Directors or the Spencers, one wonders how much is held by PI’s in with not immaterial amounts much lower down and who are holding for Gold Ridge plus whatever else might come along. Strong demand sending us flying as a result. Good luck everyone.
