We do have the big dilution but so much has changed in the world economy since they appointed administrators - the sentiment around mining companies has completely transformed.

Cheers for the link. This year a write off then, all eyes on Q1 2010. I was planning to sell out of this mid next year, that may also be a touch premature! May well be 2011/12 til this recovers, at least we are undiluted and it appears that no cash call is on the horizon with bank agreements sorted til 2011.

Not the most popular with some are they! I bought in earlier in the week at 81p - looked like a great entry point, surprised they dipped down this far. Feel that if the FTSE can push back towards 5300 then we could hitch a v quick ride upwards.

I bought in at 8p originally but bought just as many again at 22p. Sold all at 12p several weeks ago fearing a delisting or at best a very bad deal for PI's. Thought they had an opportunity when the sp spiked above 40p to have a cash call which is what I was hoping for and would have been happy to buy into. A 2 or 3 to 1 share RI at around 30p could well of sorted the debt problem and kept then banks at bay. We could have then seen a stable sp in the 30's/40's. A big dilution maybe but a much better deal for PI's than what has just happened. Overall I lost less than 1K on this but feel that they missed a boat with a lack of 'proactive' management at a key time.

WYG's management is proactive?? Proactive for themselves maybe but for PI's??. The bank has just kept them going because they would get very little back by closing the doors - little attainable asset value. 60% to the banks - expected. 25% to WYG and 15% for PI's - a joke and a kick in the teeth.

It is tempting to take some profits during a quick spike. I just don't like to do that with shares that have large spreads. The KZT has stayed very steady against the dollar recently - unlike the crazy euro/gbp to usd fluctuations. http://www.exchange-rates.org/history/KZT/USD/T is good for checking current/past rates. Best of luck with AI. It's no fun having a share suspended. I've got a holding in 1 that's been suspended for several months and appointed administrators. Somehow they have got funding and look like they will be relist next month. I don't know much about AI. (just seen the recent FT article) but hopefully their situation isn't so perilous and it comes good.

We're nearly back to where we were 6 weeks ago then! Stranger things have happened I suppose - it did break out on the back of zero news so I guess this fall is not too suprising. The spread keeps me locked in - I'm not nipping in and out of a share that has a 10% spread no matter what. Some people must be sat on big paper losses now or had some stop losses triggered. If we see 40's again then I'll have to top up.Come on STCM, give us a positive update. Next news probably in December??

Just remember that monte thought this was set for a massive fall a few weeks ago, 20p was mentioned so I'd get a pinch of salt at the ready. Now all of a sudden it's a great buy.... Come on monte, try and beat the papers to the punch. When the papers are printed the horse has often already bolted. I wouldn't say that a takeover is likely never mind a certainty, LGEN would try their upmost to prevent a hostile takeover. A bid though may well be likely so at least it would give the sp a good push.

Very pleased with the rapid movement. I've still had a bad week overall but good old STCM has stopped it from being a disastrous week! The chap who said it was 'breaking out' was certainly not kidding.

Nice to see some activity, plenty of buys today. I don't use or know how to use charts properly - I just look for long term value so if you have any other comments on charts/techs along the way then please post them. The late 30's/40p dip post results was expected but very brief - note to self to set auto top up buys in future to catch these dips before it's too late.

Quite right, it's the other way round in my comment below. Nice if they came back with some more takeover talk to get this 1 back in the headlines.

Titan Europe were considering making a takeover bid for Titan International last year but pulled out. Nearly both the same company but no cigar.

No I haven't, plunged my spare cash in yesterday to TW. Big dip on TW yesterday morning so I had to dive in on it. Interesting to see where it goes from here in the near future, some big sells have gone through. The results would have been expected by most so it may just be a quick tree shake. KZT to USD been holding steady at around 1.5 for several months, hopefully it will start to edging back the right way soon. Nothing in the results to change my mind from this still being a long term hold. Did you notice anything new of worry in the statement?

If we touch 55p then I'll be topping up as well as being very surprised. 20p in 3 months - are you serious? I assume you are holding a short position then.
