Lothbury.
As I see the RNS they got this funding 4 months after the initial funding with an increase of 5*.
If they do another funding (as they hint) say in another 4 months at another 5* increase then yes probably some dilution but equally a much bigger valuation.
Many AIM investors have experienced the problem of funding as share prices decline, in part down to very illiquid markets with only a small number of people being interested in a company, where as funding where share prices are increasing, or in this case where a private company has a valuation increasing, is a different story. Do the maths.
Nice try though!

"Technoinvest is technoviking clear as balls on a bull."
Nope.
Here is my summary / thoughts after the RNS today:
- MOS now have +20% of the betting business which has been valued at $5m = £4m (our stake is worth approx £800K)
- I am estimating that the betting business has around $1m of new money in it (for launch etc) as that makes sense with the reduction in the MOS stake
- They are hinting that they may do another private funding in the future (if we get another 5* uplift in "our" investment in the betting business for a little dilution then great)
- They have confirmed that Q2 is still in play for launch
I think that is all that I can take from the RNS today.
I am surprised that the share price did not respond a little better but I will be quite surprised and also disappointed if it is not higher than where it is now by the end of the week. That would then give us a good base to build on over the coming weeks and months, assuming news flow.
MOS is a stronger company today, after the RNS, than it was yesterday, in my opinion.
Good luck all.
Silence from the haters?
Not trying to encourage them but perhaps they could say that it is positive?
I think the directors deserve a lot of credit for that.
Even if you disagree with some of the things they have done in the past you can't knock them for that.
👍👍👍👍👍
After a quick scan - very, very, very, very good.
Can't quite believe how amazing it looks.
Game on...
LOL: "I only speak for myself and will refrain from further posts today to prove that"
So with 2 post since posting this only 10 minutes ago should I discount everything you post as probably not that true?
I try and avoid arguments but don't like you basically calling me a liar very well. I have always been pretty positive on MOS but I don't think that anyone who is being reasonable can say that I am not posting what I see with a degree of caution rather than mindless ramping.
Scottyboy1966: there is not much I can do about that.
Obviously I know that I am not so if you can't see that we are not the same person that what else have you missed?
Scottyboy1966: do I get an apology for the accusations you made against me? It was a bit unfair.
Toffeeman123. 100%.
I don't think that I have ever seen a bulletin board quite like this one with the amount of people putting in a lot of effort on the negative side. It's quite unusual.
Scottyboy1966: do you still hold? If you don't want to say then that's understandable too.
Silversprings. Thanks for sharing that info. I had not seen that. That's only a good thing for Mexico / Necaxa / etc.
Citytilidie. Agree. When I am successful its all down to me being a great investor and when I don't it's all down to the company!!!
I am not bothering to get into the good and bad things the company has done before as all the old posts have debated that one to death.
You are 100% wrong scottyboy1966. I have only this one account on LSE and have never had another account on LSE. Although I have followed stuff on LSE for many, many years.
I was very open when I joined this board and explained that I had followed MOS for years and also numerous other AIM companies. Then after several years mainly away from small UK companies I bought a few MOS and other companies on a pretty small scale.
Surely as a shareholder you should be pleased that someone liked the MOS story and bought a few shares? Since I joined this board other than a few holders most people have just been trying to scare me away. Odd.
Bit depressing see how hateful many on this board are.
I wonder how many of these haters are actually currently invested in the company.
Classic people mentality of preferring to see someone fail more than yourself succeed.
On the plus side though we are in Q2 now and MOS have suggested that Bet should launch in Q2. I imagine they would do a soft launch and then try and grow it once the systems are all working as they should.
Other than hoping for a good RNS update my thinking is along the lines of when a share price has been beaten up so much and a company has so many haters (surely not shorters down here) if they can demonstrate meaningful progress then that could make for the mother of all SP rerates. Time will tell of course.
Free bit of advice: if you are a hater try reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and put your energy into something more positive than posting here! You will feel better for it.
Certainly nice seeing this share price start to pick up. Lots to play for in the sector and even with corporation action appearing with the mega caps (BHP / Anglo). I am a relatively new holder here but this is very much a long term share with lots of potential for the patient. Good luck all.
Systemicbods: LOL.
I would prefer a strong RNS update which would also have a similar impact in attracting interest!
That's a reasonable point of view but is that not the point of what the capital markets are for? But combined with the fact that if a business can demonstrate future growth potential then investors support the company and that results in a higher share price?
There is no doubt in my mind that they have not exactly got it right so far (hence the historic share price) but they have done various things and some of these are still active and have potential. But in addition to this, the various activities that they have go involved with have then allowed them to get involved with the new Estadio venture and in my view if they can get that launched then in time they will have a significant stake in a profitable business. Estadio Bet is the single most interesting part of the whole company to me.
I see them as pretty well cashed up at the moment and with a lot of potential in this quarter (they suggested Bet may launch Q2) so we wont have to wait long to see if the company looks like they have got a strategy that will finally deliver some real value to the shareholders.
As a side point the market is littered with companies that do, then don't, then do, etc... and if you speak to many that have invested in these companies their view of that company will normally be linked to their individual period of holding the stock.
I am looking forward to the next few months and then I will see if things are taking shape.
AimInvestor1900: "multi poster". Totally untrue. You can look back at what I have posted since I joined LSE (a little under 6 months ago).
On the other hand pretty sure that you have been posting on LSE before or is this your first time on this website?
I won't be engaging with your silly posts from here as I will be working out how I mute people after I press the save button on this post.

"I wont be bothering with your other comments in my reply based on you being a brand new LSE account set up to post negative comments on MOS. Strange..."
