Already priced in with the increase in SP over the past few weeks, not surprising it will fall back to where it was, assuming of course there is no news but being cynical I don't think this will come until after the budget and the price as dropped back. underlying all this is PI buying, there's interest for sure

I think this just emphasises Gino's lack of CEO experience. Going from CSO to CEO is not easy. The Company either needs to give him the time to learn on the job or use this as a temporary role. We can speculate.... it will be for a good reason and I suspect it's in his long term interest, for example trade sale or something similar. Time will tell. It doesn't make sense to replace a commercial head with a scientific head when you are about to enter your sales cycle....

I agree 6p is very achievable, even 12p, but to sustain it there needs to be critical discussion around sales and costs and what those mean in terms of future fund raising. Genedrive needs a healthy funding round and a more commercial team...

On the same basis that values genedrive at £2m

For context, when Axis-Shield was acquired by Alere in 2011, the company had an estimated annual revenue of around £90 million from its diagnostics operations, Horizon Discovery, which was acquired by PerkinElmer in 2020, had a reported a revenue of approximately £58.3 million the year prior to the acquisition....

I agree, if all goes well there will be lots of sales. For me it’s about fair value now and working out what that it, versus potential value in the future once sales accumulate. At current levels it could be argues the business is under valued. Certainly from a potential side this is true. But the biggest growth in share price will happen once the next placing is done because clearly sales will take longer to implement and FDA ,as take some time. May not, but being here since 2016 I just caution the quick buck parade because it makes the share volatile which isn’t good for anyone long term. My guess is that they do need another placing, probably end of the year. Announcements before then will cause tick ups but unless they’re multimillion partnerships my guess is it will continually rise and fallback, rise again for the placing, then fall back for the sales to really make it self sufficient…. It’s why I think the only viable option for the business is a trade sale. All my opinion of course, I still hold, not sure why but after so long it’s about the devices doing good and being part of that.L.

There are now over 500m shares in issue. £3 would be £1.5Bn market cap? A more realistic ambition perhaps is £100m which is 18p per share.... perhaps 8p is a good ambition near term?

I'm going to get shot down as being too negative, but £1m is less than 2 months runway.

These products are too good to see this company fail. I think the only way of lowering this overhead is to be assimilated into a business that already has them. Surely long term viability can only come from a trade sale?

And I think that’s it, time will tell, shareholders investments are riding on that hope, surely safer hands required rather than let’s give it a go, can’t be worse

The technology is great, there is a huge need.

The issue for me is that they removed someone who had a more commercial handle on the business with someone who doesn’t. It doesn’t make sense.

The products are great and of immense need in the market. Having a great product requires a strong g commercial strategy. There is no doubting the technical capabilities here. Just the lack of commercial experience which I think will show. James Cheek seemed to be reversing the commercial void. That void now seems the largest it’s been.

That’s my fear too, I think they are back and it will only lead to another placing. The management team don’t care about placing since they’re not in the same game. The board should incentivise them to deliver shareholder return. Profitability is key and if you don’t have revenues you have to lower your cost base.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen Genedrive lower its cost base, someone please correct me if I’m wrong. A strong CEO would try and reduce costs, I think this business could find significant reductions. Salaries replaced in a significant proportion by options for example, not issuing bonuses and options on top of industry high amounts already

If they bought 200,000 tests then we break even, hopefully their budgets budged significantly

I think perhaps then the chair may have made a very strategic investment. The new CEO has been woth the company for over 10 years. Probably well over £2m il salary. I’d expect him to also invest, also their CFO. Both have options To not invest at similar levels especially at the placing speaks volumes. They simply are not ‘invested’ the same way we are
