It was the chair who bought 1m shares at 3p. PH stepped in and bought most of the placing shares, only £2m were bought by institutional investors. PH then sold their shares into the market and they managed to sell well above the 1.5p placing price, quick doubling of their investment in weeks. Have o got this wrong?

Long term holder since 2016 as some will know. As many of you I am really concerned about the financials of this company. Recovering £6m in sales per year to break even from a £60 test and a reagent rental model is a tough ask. Now the company is being run by a person with no previous commercial or CEO experience. I think the company is probably undervalued if it had an experienced management team, probably worth £50m to £70m. But it’s not so current SP with that risk is probably fair. Sales need to come, I was hopeful with the commercial record of James Cheek but now I’ve lost that confidence. A sale is most likely. Let’s hope they have a buyer lined up. Dr Miele, if you have confidence buy some shares and invest some of that salary you have. I don’t believe you have that confidence which says it all. Dr Gilham to be fair has, the cynic in me says….

Think about the timing of the Chair's investment, it can only happen in an open period and under certain strict conditions. I suspect this would have needed to happen in quite a narrow window where nothing tangible was 'knowingly' imminent.... It's a really good sign. Really encouraging endorsement on their view of the future here and future value. I don't think the chair has any share options and is only 'in' here is through his purchasing of shares. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The other executive directors do have share options and also I do believe invested a little previously.

Reading through there seems to be a lot of face saving here. The guidance is adoption of genedrive at poc where genetic services are not available, likelihood is that genetic services are over stretched or not available universally as has been discussed before so this opens up significant opportunities for POC testing and Genedrive is the preferred method now… great news

£25k after tax and NI so almost 10%, since he was not a founder and employees generally don't invest. The poor guy would have had to make warranties on the investment and is already exposed more than shareholders would assume... He is doing a good job so far and invested more already than the previous CEO

... we should be the other side of the NICE recommendation. As before with the ADHL test we probably may have a conditional yes, it will be a stepping stone. Lots of great things ahead here for those really invested in the proposition and the developing opportunity. Market cap of £100m is possible over the coming 12 months imo

When you read through the report it is clear that whilst laboratory testing would be preferred because of the opportunity to test many things simultaneously, the capacity and infrastructure to do it isn't there and that POC offers benefits not possible with current capacity and infrastructure.

I think the bottom line is the capacity issues mean that POC is the only viable solution but the question is would NHS prefer simply not to test anyone....

I think I speak for many LTHs, the significance now of having FDA pathway significantly changes the commercial perspective of the business and over the coming 6-12 months should see this turn into a £100m+ market cap company, so 20p+ share price. I'm confident James Cheek will be eyeing other tests too. Thankfully we have turned that commercial corner

Could be £20m+ annually in US for the tests and who knows how many instrument sales... 190k infants requiring gentamicin intervention annually in the US....

Remember too the capital equipment costs in the calculations.... great to see this coming good now and they are becoming a proper diagnostics company

In the UK, there are approximately 700,000 live births per year. Assume that around 5-10% of these newborns might require antibiotic treatment including gentamicin, this would mean 35,000 to 70,000 infants could be treated with gentamicin annually in the UK.

In the US, with around 3.6 million live births annually, using a similar assumption of 5-10% needing such treatment, approximately 180,000 to 360,000 infants might receive gentamicin each year.

Including equipment this single test in these two territories is north of £100m per annum in sales if it becomes the standard of care. Generally once you are in first you maintain your position in diagnostics because of the time effort required ti change...

Would suggest a significant market cap eventually just for this test, the stroke marker test is a multiplier on this position...

I've been a shareholder since 2016, a fascinating journey over the years and incredibly happy to see that this test will now enter new markets with the FDA approval. Some Asian countries, including Japan and South Korea, have mechanisms to accept FDA-approved tests, also in Latin America, such as Brazil and Mexico, FDA approval streamlines the approvals process. India too. This is a huge door opening event for LTHs

I think the RD1 revenue for the UK when fully adopted in the NHS was £35m per annum. Stroke market potential more than this, this suggest where the market cap trajectory could head eventually, possible 3x 5x sales could be north of £200m so 10x current SP in a few years time.... the issue for GD is to be profitable enough with current investment and sales

Very long term holder, for what it's worth here is my view.

The market cap is low, driven down because of the poor performance of the previous management who failed to capitalise quickly enough on the pandemic which meant a product that was too late to market.

However, the products that were not pandemic related were continued and represent a big opportunity of the business. They are not valued into the current market cap.

Last week we saw a quick rise to 10p and I suspect the current SP will recover to that position. I think a market cap of £30m based on the current test in market is justified and probably much higher once it becomes a more global test. Stroke testing will increase this further. Possibly to £100m and will be the making of the business in 2025 and onwards.

Nothing since last weeks recovery to 10p has changed. So 10p+ is the short term likelihood. That already prices in the equity raise since this was known about when it climbed...

I’m sure this has been spotted but this is the same group that was involved with the hearing loss pharmacogenetic test on genedrive…

Still here too CTW, gave up posting, no body is interested in a proper discussion either way. Should have sold higher and bought lower. We all felt is was undervalued otherwise that's what we would have done. Now we wait for the revenue lines to appear. Short term target £50m market cap based on AIHL sales and COVID POC....
