Utilico Insights - Jacqueline Broers assesses why Vietnam could be the darling of Asia for investors. Watch the full video here.
Does anyone know how many i7 units Beckman have in play for COVID? Based on my calcs the other day each installed i7 running the GDR test generates up to £10k revenue (£6k profit) back to Genedrive, you've got to believe this could be a huge deal for Genedrive
That's a positive thing, this loan note is a legacy from a few years ago, so 'book wise' we look simple and attractive to investors and acquirers.
Dave, me to mate, perhaps not £5 but certainly nowhere near where we are today! Lots to happen here shortly (as in the next quarter)
Agree Magsy, it's part of the business process, they leant the money, shareholders benefited, they benefit, all good. Does anyone remember, is this the last loan note, are we entirely free now? I suspect they will sell on the coming positive news, like all of us will.
Nice to see larger trading volume, once sales figures come in we should see further rises as we see what volume of tests are being sold over the coming months, well done DB and the GDR team, FDA EUA approvals should be here soon, then this opens up India for us. There's also that European Health ministry deal - hope to see an update on that too!
The Genedrive test is not a LDT - LDTs are tests developed by independent labs for example like hospital labs for internal use, FDA has removed the approvals process for these, ie they are not approving any more LDTs for use now
"Nothing in that RNS states explicitly that they are making sales - that isn't an opinion."
I agree that nothing says that have made sales or currently making sales, they couldn't until they notified the FDA. The RNS says they are now in a position to start to make the product commercially available, sales can now start to take place.
You're slightly misrepresenting the RNS I think
So Mags, genuinely, why are you here? Not through being some weird pessimistic narcissist I'm sure! You can't look at every RNS in a share you hold so some conspiracy that they are lying to shareholders whilst also being a holder... it doesn't make sense to do that, so I'm curious what your agenda really is?
Mags, it's a fair and personal opinion for you to take, I tend to read the RNS differently and believe it to say they are now providing tests on commercial terms to allow Beckman to start their sales process. I don't believe it's anything other than positive. My fair and personal opinion.
Mags
"in order to support the Beckman Biomek system's transition into clinical use and exploit commercial opportunities, the product needs to be commercially available in the United States to end users."
I tend think of 'exploiting commercial opportunities' to mean that there are sales associated with it, and 'commercially available' means product in exchange for some monetary value.
