LTHs will remember they changed their sales strategy from a software sales to a per analysis sale. As more installs are done these sales exponentially rise. £100m-£200m market cap within reach short term so £0.60 to £1.00 per share... imo
Trek, I would argue that ONC are a different business, for me the biggest different (apart from the obvious technology base) is that IB is a US company. US investors will see this as an opportunity. At some point IB/IQAI will be either sold to a US entity, or list on NASDAQ to achieve a greater return potential. This is all gearing up nicely to achieve significant market cap in my opinion.
If there is US investor interest the SP should continue to climb, they'll know that they'll be a US acquirer at some point, very few medical AI companies out there, less with FDA approved products. FDA approval for software and in particular AI is not easy
I think you have to look at the potential exits here to work out valuation. I bought in here at the end of 2018, I sold my original investment on the first spike (not the top) and kept the profit locked in. My belief is that as a US-based enterprise, now with a suite of software and FDA approvals, some sales traction taking shape, that this is a US acquisition target.
You need to view it in that way in terms of valuation. I think somewhere north of £100m or £1 a share is possible and probably sooner rather than later.
And remember with StoneChecker they were talking to several suitors.
Similar strategy for other tech companies, build the IP and sell the asset to larger players with broader sales and marketing reach... the fact we are seeing US interest suggest this process will create visibility with potential acquirers
The FDA don’t award approvals without significant demonstration. The Company has been very shrewd over the last few years. Strong position, great company, FDA approvals allows significant market entry.
