Looks like Andrew Trahar is upping the ante and trying to get a bit of publicity for the project.

I'm not convinced exactly what the Simandou offer is. All I have seen are the figures that have been given in the press. There is no indication of whether these figures constitute a cash offer or something else. That's why I am not paying too much attention to them until I know exactly how the offers are structured.
Anyway, back to the matter in hand:

In the case of a buy out I believe the share value could be in the range of £1.50 to £4.50.
If I had to put a figure on it I would give a hugely optimistic £3.84 per share.
I agree Longlad. This trouble for Glencore might just kick them into action with selling up the Zanaga mine. I'm now of the opinion this would be better for all of us as they otherwise seem to have no interest in developing it.
Although I would never base an investment decision on something I read on Twitter, it is irritating that people seem to be able to make up completely false information and post it on Twitter with apparently no repercussions.
Likewise Sooty. I'm not expecting any major developments this week. Hope I'm wrong but if not then it's no problem, I will just wait as I have done for the last couple of years.
I do believe someone will develop this mine eventually.
I'm heavily invested in ZIOC and can see the potential value of the company but I am concerned with the fact they have so little money left. What is the likely outcome if they run out of money before they either develop the mine or sell it?
I'm aware they probably have enough money left to keep going for another year or so but what happens if this continues to drag on, is it possible the company can be put into administration?
I hope someone with more knowledge of these matters can ease my concerns.

Not trying to be negative but if there was any significant progress we would already have heard about it.
This is still a long term play IMO.
What planet are you on Sandcrab? Topaz has never called this right and I don't suppose she ever will. What is your agenda?
Agreed Shrewd. I'm not expecting a game changing RNS tomorrow. Still feel hopeful over the longer term and there could still be significant news any day.
Personally I think they've been waiting so long to give the update because they don't yet have much to give.
I'm still heavily long with this stock and believe long term the prospects are good this will get developed, but I'm not expecting any fireworks this week.
Hope I'm proved wrong.
The hedge funds also have a strong short position on Wood Group, so to some extent they seem to be short the sector rather than specifically pfc.
147500 here.
I paid 0.03p spread. Made the trade by phone order through iii so it cost me 30 in spread plus commission and dealing charge. Reason the spread was so low is because it was a bed and isa. III told me the maximum I'd pay in spread would be 50 total even if I carried out the trade online so I was happy with 0.03p. However the dealing charge was 40 because it was a phone order plus a commission of 10 only on the buy side. So the trade cost me a total of 80.
Correct wdelboy2, the 100k buy and sell was me moving shares into an ISA.
