Let's see.
Totally agree that we shouldn't have to rise to every negative comment about the company, however it's been a while since the original RNS refuting the claim and the recent ones are talking about arrest...
Short, clear statement is all that is needed.
Then let's get some momentum back into this and show some true value.

I don't disagree that this could all be the workings of a misinformation campaign, but as we can all see from the SP it is working.
So we can ignore it and just be stiff upper-lipped about it (which won't stop the slide).
Or come out with a swift unequivocal rejection of all points (which would probably help us regain some of the momentum).
This is why we have investor relations and communications channels.

Twist as in, it wasn't talking about arrests, it was about a [new] lawsuit. Unless this is old hat. Came up in a search this morning...
If it's untrue, it is libellous... so it does need to be refuted IMHO.

As much as the article yesterday seemed to have been syndicated, I would still like a response from ARCM. And that law360 article poses another twist.
Easy to RNS and state that there is no veracity and we can all move on.

Crest - AIM is a funny beast. How the market interprets an informational RNS that is anything other than blatantly good news (ie, T/O offer received... or oil being struck etc...) is anyone's guess.
As you say, the one this morning wasn't anything to write home about. In all truth, I thought they would have already had someone earmarked for both!
But if we need to put a positive spin on it, it would support the idea that such services will be needed in the future.
Just how much into the future (next week or next year) is anyone's guess.

Goldstinger - agreed that these BBs are more for the wellbeing of the PIs themselves (ie, us) to vent, dig, laugh and generally keep our spirits up (whether ramping or otherwise).
That BOIL have appointed a Financial PR company and will be feeding social media can only be a good thing. Too many AIM shares bumble along and no-one really has the faintest what they are up to thus BB speculation is all we have. Hopefully that will no change, but let's see.
Positive effect on the SP this morning so that's a good thing...

I would love to see an RNS tomorrow however I don’t believe anyone at EDL has the remotest interest in this board as they seem to have little or no regard for general investor communication. I am sure, on the other hand, that lunches and calls are plenty between the larger shareholders and someone who has info. Rightly or wrongly. It’s AIM and basically unregulated.

They pretended that they had turned a corner last summer with that “grown-up company” comment but as we all saw, that just turns out to be b u l l s h 1 t.

Crossing fingers tho… as I still have a large chunk invested here.

Reality is, the SP has largely held for the past few weeks. Which after no news is a good thing.
When someone can be bothered to let us know, we’ll find out why…

I suspect the chocolate digestives have been swapped for a few shandies down the local and that any thoughts of shareholder obligations will be in the urinal by now…
