Bricks, I’m not trying to pull your chain, but I can accept that **** happens and they said something probably as a shareholder boost which then tripped them up.
Perhaps the naïve one is me. So be it.
Since the drop I have bought back in to more than my original holding (I did sell some at a small profit and moved to something else)…
LR may be accused of a lot of things but I don’t believe he is a liar.

Surely the value event was referring to ink on paper which never materialised but was assumed to be in the bag. Their mistake was even alluding to it, which was probably no more than naïve, rather than deliberately misleading.

We are as likely to ditch TORAL as we are to become a Spanish bucket holiday company.
Diversifying our portfolio whilst we continue to look for a buyer isn’t that hard to grasp, on the other hand.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see some adjusted TR1s with the current flurry of despair. Opportunity favours the brave.

Usually get an RNS immediately after the meeting confirming all motions passed... whether we then get any summary of questions raised is another matter.

Grappa - as much as I have learned never to say "it will never happen" (ref: my entire life on AIM!!!), I would be very surprised if we continue down to those depths. Not least as those newcomers who have recently joined us at seemingly rock-bottom prices must have been given some indication in. the sales cycle as to what is around the corner.
And no, I'm not going to jinx it!

Grappa - would have to agree with Highside: technically the second placing is subject to approval tomorrow. But we all know that that's a pure technicality.
I am still hopeful [optimistically confident!] that those who have joined the party haven't done so in order to lose money.
Even if the asset seems to have been written off by many on this board, I am also hoping that those new joiners may be able to help us navigate to a successful outcome and take Toral and/or EUZ back into industry favour.
It's just a waiting game now, until we find out what has been going on under the surface.

The second half of the placing gets admitted from Wednesday, so will be interesting to see what happens. Again, I can't see any investor putting in more cash unless there was positivity around the corner, or at least within reach. Certainly not the likes of DB.
Time for that rabbit to emerge from the hat...
