I think the timing is also the reason why we didn't skyrocket... investors/traders would probably have closed out positions in time for the long weekend / end of month before the news dropped. The ASK did touch 5p, but then settled back down over the following hour. Will be interesting to see where we go on Tuesday: suspect it will be where we see the first "real" market digestion of the news.

Well, news of an approaching RNS always leaks out, so that could be why we'd had a few bites in the last few days... although none have been anything serious... Tomorrow's as good a day as any!
One can only hope.

Interesting that the 2 sells (27474 + 10474) exactly match the buy (37474). I know there's a buyer for every seller but not sure it's always that transparent.

Mailgirl - I sincerely hope you are right. I was quite surprised at being able to pick up 240k yesterday in one go... equally could sell a large volume (tested it). And there are noticeable chunks being bought up most days, albeit with some largish sells interspersed.
To be fair, the SP is ridiculously low assuming what's in the ground. The silence is deafening.

Grappa - assume you've averaged down to get out even (or in profit) at 4.5p... :))
My SIPP purchase yesterday has lowered me to 4.6p average: my ISA is a woeful 6.34.
