Have to say I am still confused about the business model as EDL is the owner of the asset.
They own the business.
They bring in “staff” (ILTL) to extract and pay them on a productivity basis.
Except that the terms seem to be based on a % they (EDL) keep versus how much they need to pay the staff.
That doesn’t sound like they are running the business to me.

To clarify... It's not that they have a partner... but that the partner will be paying EDL a commission, versus EDL paying ILTL a commission (as a customer/supplier arrangement)

So, this new setup I find odd:
EDL own the mine.
ILTL are buying the first 10,000 tonnes per month.
ILTL are also managing the operations of the mine.
EDL will look for more customers.
[Assume ILTL will be continuing operational control / management for all extraction/processing].
EDL will just get a chunk of the sale.
Why does it sound as though ILTL now has the better end of the deal (unless they are getting paid pittance..).
What am I missing?

Would agree... it's definitely not responding to an RNS which green lights the company to move onwards and upwards.
Pity. But our time will come....!

SoaS - indeed. Have to assume the capital was needed elsewhere, rather than something ominous...
I'm up on my [smaller!] holding, so they could have made a profit and gone elsewhere.
We shall see whether staying pays off soon enough!
