RE: ILTL12 Dec 2020 07:46
Esquire: don’t follow the logic here (maybe it’s just too early!... no caffeine yet!): “ Less shares issued and less profit for LIND when they dump them.”
The consolidation doesn’t affect the value of our holdings. It just means the price of an individual share is no longer essentially valueless unless sold in large multiples, and thus difficult to reflect small pricing adjustments (eg, if we moved 0.01p today it would be 25% - or whatever - change... nuts!).
If they announce ILTL activation this will be the Christmas present we are waiting for. Late, yes, but it would hopefully mean we can start to get coal out of the door.
This might even help resolve the Lind issue in that they may then see value in sticking around.
We are (presumably) all only speculating on what Lind will do post consolidation and that consolidation itself is being demanded/driven by Lind; and even whether their intention is to sell etc.
Consolidation followed by Raise is unfortunately relatively well documented. EUZ did exactly this in the summer (raise was announced post event of course).
Do EDL have a master plan to turn this around? I hope so, as consolidation in itself isn’t going to affect the operations of the site.
