Hi Andrew. Yes, looks like others are also expecting news, and not limited to only the q4 results. Although I'm expecting the effect of rain to play a part in this quarter, with the stored gold and the Nexus cut included, I'm expecting the results to mildly appease the market, followed by the overdue backlog of goodies that will catapult us back to where we came from and above.

I think both myself and JDAU have forgotten about the past week to be honest. I've kept myself occupied by the VAST mess unravelling recently, and God it makes me feel much better.

lK is looking to achieve a 500k market capital before considering the company as transformed, as per his initial road map. At that point, he will seek an exit strategy for shareholders, using our assets to negotiate a buyer. Sounds good to me....and as a result, from now onwards, I can imagine the standard of food offered to the peasants at each future AGM to increase considerably, along with production. LK, make it worth my while travelling from Bristol...to be fair, I'm rather simple to please. I'd be happy with a Zinger Tower Meal! ....or just the sandwich ;)

I'd certainly agree with that, it just needs to climb a bit more before I'm satisfied. I can imagine those that bought at the lows are rather happy with themselves atm though....as soon as things actually start rolling, it'll probably recover nicely.

TBTT - Just reading back through my OP, I can see what I've wrote that made you think that I was thinking something different. Forget it, it was my fault ;)

Another nice thought about greater Marange... Over the Mugabe period, easy access diamonds were pillaged all across the Marange fields. This was achieved mostly by low tech equipment, and man power. Man power is a highly inefficient way of extraction from depth, but where it was easier to just move across, rather than down, Marange has been plundered mostly over the surface. Suppose the Mugabe folks dug approx 10m in depth, but all across N, E, S & W.....I'd be interested to know the depth until bedrock. Let's assume it's 20m to bedrock, then that could open Marange up completely to modern mining techniques and machinery. It's like a potential clean sheet again for exploitation across the whole region.

TBTT - Thanks, that was actually a really good read. I will also look for the video mentioned. From what I'm aware, there are two types of typical diamonds found in Zimbabwe. The rounded dark water worn alluvial diamonds that you mention, which are of relatively low value, but plentiful, where roughly 10% are of gem quality. Then there is the higher quality, higher carot, auctionable diamonds that have been found alluvially, and in various kimberlites across Eastern Zimbabwe...it's actually the latter "kimberlite source" that I was referring too. As the entire Marange fields have been known to contain the lower quality diamonds, imo, to whatever extent, their existence is pretty much implied at Heritage. But as for the higher quality....well, I guess that's what we're all hoping for anyway.

Marange is far bigger than just VASTs 15km2 Marange claim, I'm hoping that our claim lives up to the region's expectation of world class. If AP does manage to pull the Zim deal, I also hope he's been hiding(for commercial sensitivity reasons) the fact that we are sat right above the mother of all kimberlite pipes, and/or the source of all Maranges alluvial diamonds. ...Now that would instantly shut down the argurments of all APs critics, as we realise that those discreet smirks AP made were no bluff!
