@scart.. yep their are assumptions being made in my reasoning but I'd say for the amount of shares being sold onto market relative the shares already in issue it would have needed some time to get through them. I reckon within about a week from now they will have been churned through. I'm looking for the indicator of Peel moving the bid price up above there ask price from the last few days, then I'll feel we have shifted the placing.

the forward selling of the placing has been going on for a few weeks now. Approx 8 million new shares on market tomorrow. If you observe the daily volume over the past few weeks and with their likely to be more buys than sells then the market probably needs to get through about 12 million shares to get through the churn. With say average of 500,000 ish buys on the positive side per day give or take a error percentage on the initial parameters we probably needed about 20 days of trading. So we must be fairly close now as it's been around 16 days of trading. Another few days or less and the placing shares will be churned through and then normal health trading resumes.

@Comek2, I hope that sales data is released quickly but i tend to take a slightly cautious approach and see by mid june the sales data will have come through.

I'm expecting this share to level around £4 with spikes if the herd turn up of £5.

Rh619, pull the trigger and buy, rarely do I suggest what people do as Dyor is key, in this case the fundamentals of the share are excellent, if you wait just one month your patience will be rewarded.

It will take a little time but once a certain MM lets this go then everyone is going to be jumping back to GDR with a very limited amount of shares in free float compare to the other Covid plays people will look at £2+ as a cheap entry shortly.

has been strong this morning and the previous trading days, it just shows how many shares are being forward sold to have this much buying pressure and the MM can still hold it down at this level. As soon as these shares are cleared the re-rate will begin and then the herd will turn up along with the ramping and de-ramping crews. Everyone buying in now, well done you are the smart money.

@scart -- It's not as simple as that, there is admin to go through, inventories to clear and probably in many cases there will be european agencies to go through. As much as you want it to be a look at the test buy, unfortunately it takes longer than that. Give it a few weeks and the orders will start coming in.

scart I doubt we shall hear anything about sales till mid june. Lets just get rid of this hopeless placing which killed of the sentiment to your avg trader and have some patience. I think the days will come in a few weeks where we have a 100% rise type of day and £4 by the end of june, however for now the MM are very much in control so smart money just buys into this manufactured share price.

Let them jump ship , people see opportunity to make quick money, good for them. We'll get a 100% day in the near future.

Toffy, from your message it's clear you don't understand how the markets and placing actually work. Do more research and then buy in while the price is so rediculously low.

Thepunter it is ridiculous, I suspect though AVCT is going to have a crash in share price sooner rather than later, the MM is running on pure speculation with them, it will take just one piece of poor news for that share price to come crashing down. Where as GDR are now completely de-risked and the market will catch on soon enough, the placing has hid the actually true fundamentals at play here, once the herd see GDR moving north they will rush over here. It may be in a few days, it may be in a month from now but, fundamentals always win out. People buying into AVCT at the moment are taking a considerable risk, people buying into GDR now are the ones with the smart money.

ii have vastly more restrictive rules for buying and selling than the private investor. So where as a pi will certainly have the sense to hold here while the re-rate happens in the coming weeks the ii will have to manage their position even if there is more profit on the table to be had. The ii are limited to the profits the can have due to risk management, also keep in mind currently GDR is classed as a MicroCap so there will be a limited amount of ii who can actually trade this stock due to that factor alone.

Will just continue, PEEL have this totally under their control. They will always win no matter what the market conditions.

Most of it will have already been forward sold so it will make no difference. If you think there will be a sudden drop in price that shall not be the case. Be glad to get past tomorrow, that has been for the shareholders one of the worst placing I've seen done by a company short term, however as long as they use it as suggested and do not do further placing in the near term then fair enough.

Croz, if you don't understand why the placing was at 80p then you clearly should not be trading shares. Stick to reading main stream news and keep your money in your bank account, investing is not a skill your demonstrate from your comments. Ignore this guy he has no clue what he is talking about.

Croz, try understanding fundamentals of a company before you trade and not just looking at a number on the screen.
