As I said last week a big fat NO from us doesn't mean the company goes straight into administration! It just means we stop paying for there lavish life style's, and they have to take big pay cuts and get finnance from elsewhere! (That is what banks are for!)

got to agree! if they were taking you serious and believe our combined action could put them all out of an income(Idon't say work, as they don't do any! just spend our money), they would be falling over each other to get in touch with Fred/us to explain how its all going to be good news! and to keep investing.

so at least one broker knows what a polled vote is!

Polled vote was mentioned in Freds earlier posts, it means they cant get away with just a show of hands to pass motion at GM! I emaied HL afterwards to say wanted polled vote!

my 3.3m also voted against and I've asked my broker (HL) for polled vote!

I'm in simular position with caring for wife, I don't work now but could not justify costs of getting down to London for day, I worked for Thomas Cook till they went bust last Sept. no redundancy no pay, small amount from Goverment insolvency scheme, so I now live on small army pension and £66.15 a week carer's allowance from the state!( unfortunatley I am straight White Brit and own my house).

The scare mongering has started!
There is no way the BoD will just sit back and let company go into administration, that doesn't derail the gravy train it crashes it!! They will have other options to raise cash, just not as lucrative as fleecing share holders again!
We have to vote against, to force them to take notice and take other actions.

I fully support Fredie's actions
and say that he can not be blamed what ever the outcome, we are all in this together and it will be our consolidated votes against the BOD proposals that affect the outcome! I personely will be voting against all proposals, and if company folds I will loose what little value I have left in my shares, I can live with that, money's already written off!

I live in warrington and am full time carer for disabled wife, so no way I can get down to meeting! But I can instruct my brokers to vote against all resolutions if thats going to be our course of action.

Well I think first action would be to advice BOD to read this forum, so they can see that there gravy train is running off the rails and won't be making any more cash deliveries to them! Also think the Wednesday deadline would be good idea for some positive action on there side!

My shares are with HL and Ii, just had email from Ii saying got to vote before 11 Feb, I'm waiting till last minute, to give you guys chance to formulate a plan of action!
