It’s fine using EV light commercial vans for local deliveries but believe me there is never going to be a EV heavy lorry tramping around the country nearing 45000kgs there well may be a case for STGO trucks pulling modular trailers as they are usually loaded with 50000kgs ballast boxes over the drive axles for traction purposes, that box would be a ideal for loading up with batteries.

Bunkering fuel depots exist across the country at truck stops, usually run by Keyfuels so the haulage company knows the rate of fuel for any given week on the Friday the previous week, Keyfuels are European wide although since the 01/01/2021 I'm not sure how that works.
