Lots of sad idiots on here tonight - unsurprisingly...
Interesting deal announced tonight. Firstly as far as I am aware hangar one is only one half of the "new hangars" with hangar two being the other half. So that's another £5m if that was sold. I am asking myself, a) Why only sell one half? b) Why sell it at all at this point in time?
I am thinking this is all part of the sale/MERGER process. One hangar for the use of FAS and one for the "new fleet" perhaps??
Secondly. Looking back through the 8.3s earlier in the year. Most IIs have reduced, Aberforth the significant one including 9m shares sold very recently. Hoskings however have actually increased slightly from 18.44% to 19.17%.
Great example. Absolutely laughable. And non of these bashers are on the fast jet BB telling them how that company is worthless and will go bust... because it is to their benefit being on here and trying to sway opinion.
Most of the articles I have read so far have been mostly nonsense, with “journalists” just repeating the same thing and making assumptions based on zero fact. The independent quotes that routes such as Doncaster to Alicante aren’t viable - that flight is always 90%+ full and the fares aren’t cheap!!! Cardiff airport should be worried - more tosh, for starters the routes are subsidised by the welsh government and Flybe make a lot of money from that base. As lazy as some of the bashers on here.
Deliberately misleading statements being made to try and scare PIs out of their positions. The lack of morals and ethics people possess actually saddens me.
Some real nonsense being posted on here now. Read the trading update FFS and don’t be taken in by these scam artists as I’m sure a few did this morning on the shake. There’s a 2m buyer. That’s not punt money. Highly likely a few of these posters are on the payroll - it does happen and I know that for a fact.
What happen to 5p moniman??? Don’t be swayed by these BB shysters!!!! Crazy drop this morning, shame I was on nights!!!
I beg to differ - I worked for them at the time.
“However, the CAA ruled that as Monarch no longer had the aircraft at their disposal or the ability to operate flights,” The comparison is laughable. Don’t open stupid spreadbets on leverage and you won’t need to waste your evening making up nonsense.
I’ll do it for you. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-monarch-airlines-licence/british-aviation-authority-revokes-monarchs-operating-licence-idUKKBN1D92QM
Quite right they didn’t. Go away and find out why and then come back and report. Muppet.
Pull the AOC?? Hahahaha, that’s got to be THE most ridiculous thing I have EVER read on these boards!!!! Idiot.
I don’t recall or can find (brief search) any mention of figures for the Sri art bid - just that it was rejected by Flybe. Since then they have had developments at the bird room level and tied up with BACF.. If I had to guess where this was going it would be in that direction...
Further to the announcement made by Stobart Group on 22nd February 2018, Stobart Group and Flybe have been unable to reach agreement on satisfactory terms. The Board of Stobart Group has determined that it is not in its shareholders' best interests to increase its latest proposal for Flybe above the level which was rejected by the Board of Flybe. Given this, Stobart Group confirms that it does not intend to make an offer for Flybe. Stobart Group and Flybe enjoy a range of shared interests as well as a growing franchise arrangement between the two groups' airlines and it is Stobart Group's intention to continue the collaborative working relationship between both companies.
It’s the muppets that have opened spreadbets at low prices that are the ones that are worried - hence some of the trolling on here today.
Short position is just 1% so nothing major in the grand scheme of things.
And in their trading update they stated the loss primarily on GBP and oil prices alongside reduced demand and brexit. Well we know most of that is nowhere near as bad as made out. Drop over done and a buyer waiting in the wings IMO.
DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY CODE ON TAKEOVERS AND MERGERS - lets see who holds what....
Fair question. It would depend on who the suitors are IMO. Asset stripper would have a clear motive, grey bull wouldn’t be my choice but synergies are there with MAEL so could be a fit. Ryanair will stay clear IMO, Easy are an option as they are building a base in MAN and the slots are valuable. If they let Flybe go bust they won’t be gauranteed those slots. Similarly with the major airlines.. CityFlyer/Stobart are the best two fits IMO. Similar routes/aircraft, clear cost savings to be made as well as consolidation of the regional flying sector. If they let flybe go bust - which they won’t anyway. It is not so simple to just “cherry pick” the best bits. Assets would ultimately have be sold off to pay creditors. The purpose of buying them would be to automatically gain the dominant position in UK regional flying. The sudden vaccum caused by Flybe no longer being would have a dramatic effect across the UK travel industry, I don’t think a lot of people appreciate the service they provide. As a shareholder a buy out will be profitable but as stakeholder I would prefer the turnaround to continue.. Just some more tweaks required. ATB to genuine posters.
Why 15p??? Just keep reporting this sad act. They will soon be removed form the board unless they choose to post some actual facts rather than just 15p, 15p, 15p, fifteen pee, FIFTEEN PEE, FIFTEEN PEEEEEEEYYYYY!!!!! Zzzzzzzzzz.
Share price is a lot about sentiment. Sale of the company will be about value and what value a suitor believe they can extract. £80-100m IMO.
