what do you make of the ftse ?? some stocks opened gap up today... ftse taken some support off weekly 200ma and 23% fib but to me it looks v bearish from 7100 if that.

well done on your Cable Ozzy trade - I'm not trading with IG atm but I know what you mean, IG wicks seem longer than the real world sometimes, also spread seems poor and stays fixed even when price is moving. I picked up 20 points on the DJ earlier but I'm a bit nervous now, until I can find a workable stop method I'm trading on high hopes and thin air. Thanks for the heads up on xaar... ATB

Dax made a steady climb, closed positions with a loss of 650 not too bad considering, Still up on the month but need to avoid a repeat in future. GS, it's almost as if esure were earwigging.. 212p down 2%

xaar up another 6%....just saying :) GS..talk up again 115p...whats going on ?? have to say looks like a 130p or even 150p possible target....is it just director deals or smoke n mirrors before they go under ? "Sir Howard Stringer, Non Executive Director, bought 46,000 shares in the company on the 21st March 2018 at a price of 110.00p. The Director now holds 56,000 shares representing 0.00% of the shares in issue." GS..lloyds cheap enough but can't see much more than 67-68p for a while...good dividend though. Could be some upside to BT from 200p level when if they get there.

not been going to well this morn on the Dax - had to take some losses trying to call the bottom when it's been sliding south all along, have recovered some with a 45 quid here and there but feels like I'm fighting it...still down on the day...May have another look around the BOE later. GL sir

- I had a look at Crude earlier it seemed a bit flat...that red candle could have been the classic stop closer to go higher, for me the Crude 1min isn't dynamic enough to scalp ....I am looking for something else to trade other than the Dax...I'll have to wear Lederhosen at this rate and nobody wants to see that .... Yes I know what a difference the 'zone' makes, when you're out of sync its a no go..takes a re-boot nights sleep to realign usually.

xaar up 18% today ! opt - that's interesting, I hadn't thought of the smart meter holiday angle...dodgy. Just had a nice few trades off dax S1...28 points 15min and 1min scalp setup - those frames are working quite well atm.... Opt...Don't know about the Mega title, I would hold that judgement till December, but thanks all the same :-)

Close shave...... now decided to go on a run north with a flag at 12361....should have been long there 40 pips in a few seconds :(

got stopped on 5 units -140 my other lot never got hit.... luckily it rolled over so I've just banked 105 on a revised limit. Will be back in scalp mode now.....with an eye on fibs as I'd almost forgotten those !

under water......missed 100 quid profit and held for the bigger prize....now stuck in a swing over nite maybe.....bugger.
