Four goes at usd\jpy this morn....stopped every time - to short or not to short that is the question.

Opt, sorry to hear your aud/cad went bits up...that's the way it goes sometimes, hope the loss was managed- managable....conversely thursday Friday I had my best two trades this year.... DJ and EUR/JPY, thinking of framing the latter...was such a good one. just need to hit the repeat button from now on lol.

Opt... B/E is fine - live to fight another day.....I've had some mediocre trade,s quite a few 50 quid stopped loosers...
one or two 2:1 gems have kept me in profit....reverted to scalp mode around fomc earlier which worked well although didn't have stops.

All good so far.

Ah against trend...it's the day trading curse. Did some back testing the weekend which seemed to work, put into practise today and stopped every time ! but more suited to swings I'm thinking so will stick with it.

I'm up this year overall but the last week is B\E ish so feels no better than luck.. Been out most of so just having another look now.

Banked a nice 2:1 from the dax today..second attempt - was stopped first. Back in on a 2.5:1 (with trend)

Was on the road most of yesterday, will be looking for one or two set-ups today...where's Hott ? not seeng any posts from him....Opt don't really have any email to put on a public forum...must be another secure way ?

Think I'm trading less from here, 3:1 + if I can find them, so when the DJ turns (and it must soon) that would be a candidate...but I need you to let me know before hand when the bull run is just about to end :)
or maybe I'll stick scalping as I'm not really suited to thematic trades it seems.

looks like 80% of my trades are against trend - so a simple switch would yield the wins, coffee pots half way up the garden atm.

GS day trading is very solitary and mostly repetative so interaction with other addicts is a must :) looks like spi have finally settled in the sediment will blame that on brexit I think lol.

Opt went short DJ over night and hit target !...... think I'm break even for two days work now.
