SP I think your're right about a small fcev to overcome the home charging problem, there maybe other solutions down the line and alot of money to be made. I couldn't really wait to get away from ICE cars, my last diesel had cost me a fortune at around 60k mi mark with the usual curse of the modern diesel problems, friends were having problems with stop starts and Hybrids where dealerships were unable to diagnose problems easily with these cars so I wanted a clean break, ev using the KISS principle fewer things to fail less cost , no noticable battery degradation on the older car 4 years out and no other problems so far touch wood.

Assumed they set off with 10% and guessed they live in Tumbridge Wells 130 miles. Two stops required The Taycan is very inefficient.

It's very light on details location details, the owners seemed clueless, you wouldnt head for a 7kw charger to charge a Taycan on route . The charging network is starting to grown in places and some maintenance delays due to staff off with covid, but of course, many more will need to go in very soon.
Today Ive driven 180 miles charged twice + the initial charge leaving home, no problems at all, requires a little planing if an unfamilar route. Not in a Taycan I might add :\
