Fair play Opt, its risky into the dead zone with copper plus the Asian session can be wild, I felt the chances of it going beyond 8k were worth the risk. u should do well with RR quite safe I think, wonder if Boris will turn anything positive the weekend ?

Producing H2 for two weeks before race.

Charging two weeks before race = 14 charging windows = 240 panels required to provide 3,360kw for each race location *(100kg of H2)
Producing H2 on route onboard Helena would obviously reduce this.

Anneowl, so thats 52kw obtained over the 12 hours to produce 1kg of H2 ~ theoreticaly holding 33kWh ~ at 100% efficiency a 40kw FC would run for less than 1 hour at full power.
Its almost impossible to work out the total required, not knowing race lengths, topography, temperature, etc etc. I think the batteries are deliberately matched to short race distances , so probably need charging after each race... 9 teams, 7 races,
multiply by number of cars x number of races, factor in FC of only 50 or 60 % efficiency plus losses charging 10%, voltage conversion losses etc
Prob would double or tripple to overcome losses to 32 or 48 ~ 275w panels per car per race producing in clear skies for 12Hrs
