I have just commented on the FT article mentioning the Avacta test and including a link to the companies website

I get the feeling that Whitty and his mate are not in Boris’s good books at the moment with them saying rapid testing is not a “slam dunk”
This maybe the time when the politicians start to call the tune, the public are fedup with professors given the flat lining of deaths and admissions. I would like to see an analysis of the present deaths...age, underlying issues etc.

Then Trump can say it’s an American test.......America first!

The Italian lawyers are only just back from holiday. It will be a few days yet till the ink dries on agreements etc.

EVEn if our tests have been fully approved, the government will want to make the announcement and take the glory (as will Trump) the RNS will follow soon after

I too enjoy his posts and find them very useful. I am sorry that certain posters here were rude to Ophidan. We have lost a very experienced guy with good contacts in this field. I hope he returns when the good news comes out
