It states Director ownership at 6.8% of which Andrew Bell (Dir) had 5.5%.
I note in Jan 2023 Andrew Bell was listed as having 5.5% in shareholdings which was 6.8% of total Director ownership but as of Jan 24 he is no longer listed under the major shareholders tab. Website in general could do with some attention but this page has been updated as of 02/01/24.

Down over 85% over 5 years
Down over 70% over 1 year
Down over 55% over 6 months
Down over 27% over 1 month
Even Jordan Belfort would struggle to ramp this as a good investment.
The only winners ever here will be short term traders. Bring on a spike before the dog dies...
They have already exported it...from Zim to Mozambique... seriously if this is going in containers for shipping presumably to China then it wouldn't land there for at least another 14 days based on shipping line connectivity and sailings.
Happy to be proved very wrong...
An update on the vision and strategy would be nice - extract from https://www.rrrplc.com/about-us/vision-and-strategy/
'Red Rock creates shareholder value by participating in a diverse portfolio of projects and investments with exposure to commodities across multiple stages of the natural resource cycle. With growing cash-generation from its manganese and gold investments, the Company has a platform for growth both organically and from new strategic opportunities.'
Strategic priorities:
Short term cash generation
Longer term portfolio optimisation and disposal
Opportunistic investments at the bottom of the natural resource cycle
KPIs:
At this stage in the company’s development, the Directors regularly monitor key performance indicators, including progress on major projects, availability of liquid assets, primary cash flows and bank balances; general administrative expenses, which remain low relative to its peers; as well as share price performance and appreciation.
But I'd expect the above is ignored and it is more so the opposite to creating share price appreciation and share holder value...hence yet another update on dilution to fund the ongoing 'low overheads'. I hope I'm wrong.
I would like to see more detail rather than cryptic RNS and tweets. Sending only c.6-8 bulkers 300 miles to drop off 200mts at the Port of Beira cannot be commercially viable for either RRR or the buyer so why don't they explain the thinking - is this a trial for either party at a loss to one or both? 200mts is not a shipment size, I'd expect to see 3,000mts coaster size based on port restrictions and costs & Vessel charter costs to be viable. Have they agreed to take a hold on the back of another company shipping etc. detail is needed to explain why they have not waited to send a much bigger shipment.
I'm trying to get back in again and have placed an order for 5m shares. Not yet filled since placing shortly after this morning's RNS.
This has hit my target much quicker than expected... 50% up in c.1 month, not too shabby. If only all trades could go this way eh...
Momentum seems to be here so will continue to hold for now.
Hi Tamer,
I don't think it will longer term in direct relation to the share price. That is not to say the news on licences won't add value to the company and direction of travel but often it seems with AIM that such news is not reflected in the stock price. We must also consider the very real chance of the news not being as positive or being delayed but again I wouldn't expect that to massively influence the stock to the negative side. I'm here for decent drill results, anything else that moves the SP upward is a welcome bonus.
Just popped £7k into this at 0.70 on a small punt that drilling results will show some positive results.
Hoping to be out again by Xmas latest at 1p (or higher). Not expecting much movement for the next 45-60 days unless 0.65 support gives way heavily on unforeseen bad news then I'll be straight out.
Not that I want to but I can sell my £44k holding very easily with a quote in under 15 seconds, same goes for making a similar size purchase. Just a waiting game...
The company has issued £300m in commercial paper under the CCFF. You had to be in a sound financial state prior to pandemic to gain access to this facility. However, if you are using the facility I expect it is to ensure continuity of business or because the cash flow situation is currently less than comfortable.
My view is that results have been delayed in order to improve the forward outlook for 2021 in the supporting exec summary to be issued with 2020 accounts which will have seen a drop in last year's revenue.
Additionally, I wonder if they delayed results to ascertain Lufkin indirect outcome impacts, if any, on SFO & PFC. Purely my views only & I'm presently a holder.
Ragdoll2 - GS has continually and consistently revised his share price down month on month. With timelines of recovery also pushing back with each passing month.
Why on earth would you take heart from that?
As for urging others to buy in based on your feelings - please don’t do that. You have an average which is many multiples of today’s share price. There is literally no way that you will be at break even on this in 3 weeks.
GS is expecting 300 tonnes in November, we need 500 to be at break even and not losing cash we don’t really have. Why would you urge people to invest before the company production is stable and before all repairs have been confirmed?
Ragdoll - do you mean you earn £60k per 1p rise? I assume you do as you had over £280k invested here - of which at least £108k (now worth less than £5k) was at an average of over 20p. Therefore even if this is the case I do not see how you calculate those maths - can you explain?
It is worth noting to others reading in that Ragdoll2 is extremely rich and therefore can continue to gamble on this share until it finally turns a corner or goes bankrupt without it effecting their life in the slightest.
Ragdoll2 - I mention this so others do not take confidence from your investment as at this stage it is comparable with putting £40k on red or black.
Once positive news is released and the share price finally stabalises should people consider investing. In the interim they should do some long term share price research - anyone want to answer when the last time was that this share finished a 30 day cycle in the blue??
Think on before considering this share cheap - many have said that when it was 1000% higher than today, the market rarely gets it wrong.
For the record, I am invested here among others, like every holder I am underwater, I will not add further until production drastically improves.
Igeek - I agree with Leslieby. Too many on here keep saying this is cheap - then the price drops further and further and further.
No one on this board is making money yet so why risk more.
Wait for this share to turn a corner and ride it ion the way up rather than catch a falling knife.
Everyone on this entire board who has bought in to CRA/ALO thought they were buying in at a good price (a bargain). Everyone, including myself, has been proved wrong and everyone is underwater to some extent. Some at 90%+ losses and some of the newer investors just a few %.
The point I make is that this price, nor any other price, cannot be considered a bargain on what we currently know.
The October production was not released which indicates it has not met expectations again. The company continues to raise cash calls that were unexpected and not forecast due to lower than expected production. Experienced board members have resigned.
Yes CRA have some money to carry out maintenance and yes they have a few grand to keep the lights on for a few more months paying wages but until they start really producing and making money they are a high risk share.
I fully expect the majority of shareholders on here will never break even. Some are now coming to realise this, again, myself included.
To those reading in, do not consider this a bargain because the share price has dropped so much - share prices drop for a reason and the market is rarely incorrect.
There are punters on here who are mega rich and do not care about losing £50k on a punt on CRA. This is not a sign that smart money is piling in to ALO - it could simply be another chancer.
Wait for news that justifies your investments before averaging down/buying in. You may lose a minor part of any rise but your investment will be based on a more sound decision.
Also never put all your investment eggs in one basket - especially not an AIM basket at that!
The fact that we have not had a positive update worries me. I now fully expect the performance for October to fall below expectations again - I hope to be proved wrong.
The large dilution this week was also a major blow for long term holders. There are many on here who will never see break-even, let alone profit without heavily investing further to average down.
That is always the risk when you commit your entire portfolio/investment to just one share. Makes it hard to get out without heavy losses.
I will be looking to average down to circa 6p if performance picks up and will be pleased to get out at that. At present, it looks unlikely.
What are your thoughts currently G.S?
At present this share price could go up or down.
If October has been a productive month returning to expected production levels then I expect this to rise as confidence will be marginally restored - the likely jump will come if we can maintain and exceed production expectations throughout Q4.
To offer balance however, if we have yet again not met expectations, suffered downtime issues then I expect this will see another dramatic drop.
I am hoping the latter is not a concern.
I expect a production update RNS no later than the 1st week of November. Silence would suggest to me a negative result. Kevin knows he needs to reassure the market the plant is now working without hiccups and he will be wanting to give this good news asap.
I marginally increased my holding upon news of funding for parts. I will increase once Q4 has been deemed a success, not before..
