Lovely to hear you've trawled my posting history. Did you note the excellent calls made about SGC and GOG which led to huge SP gains when the predicted respective take-over offers arrived? Tell you what: call me out when this plummets to under a pound and I might do the same when I've reached my first price target whereby I sell a small chunk of my holding. I like to deal in facts and figures and try and cut through any disproportionately negative hype around an industry. It's purely about bums on seats from here on in and the travel sector has returned to a stage where it can't meet demand YET ie.a huge queue of willing customers. Not the worst dilemma to have in the world of business and a lovely dilemma for a company to be working hard to rectify
Toddjustin: Don't worry, I did load up at 125p. Absolute no brainer at that level. You might get lucky and shave a few pence off that amount and have the chance to get in- but I doubt it- given the overplayed fall from double this level. You and Shakineven might be waiting for a fair while for this to go sub-£1 LOL. But I think you realise this already and are merely deramping for another agenda....
You wish, penny pincher! It's a steal at 125p. Let's see what happens by end of next week. The numbers are getting there re bums on seats and holiday bookings. Overreaction in the press and negative sentiment
Good afternoon,
Unfortunately, we are unable to advise on the negatives of each option (PAPER CERTIFICATE VS HELD IN NOMINEE ACCOUNT WITH X-O/JARVIS)
If the shares relist on a UK exchange we may be able to continue trading the shares however if it relists on a foreign exchange we will not be able to facilitate the trading.
At present your shares are held in our nominee name, we are named on the share register but we maintain a register of any holdings held in our nominee name. If you leave your holding with us they will remain in your account and any further details will continue to come from us. If you withdraw your holding you will be named on the share register and any correspondence will be sent to you directly from the company. If you withdraw an ISA holding the shares will be removed from the ISA wrapper.
Kind regards

Here's something that's CERTAIN, Noggers. It's etc, not ect, as in the word etcetera. And there ends the lesson for today. You've learnt something. AND THAT'S A FACT.
I'm sorry, Chaebol, but all you've done there by reposting Peterson's comments is give everyone ANOTHER chuckle at your expense. He's a funny guy! Sounds like he's got the measure of you and has absolutely rinsed you on a number of levels. Plus you have no idea if he's invested heavily, what average SP he has and how he's traded along the way.
You must think BTC is doomed if you think ARB won't go up massively from these levels at ANY point in the future. Most are happy to top up at this level, average down and wait a year OR FEW.
They just don't care for your incessant salivating at every 10p drop.... It's a bear market, go figure.
His incessant trolling and pathetic attempts at deramping here are clearly because he's jumped ship to Mara and then realised that the grass isn't always greener. The considerable undervaluation in ARB relative to Mara remains yet to be addressed. Seen it all before. The fundamentals still don't lie and the impressive December update will have been another blow for the naysayers like him! Wait until the sentiment around BTC and miners returns and see just how quickly ARB recovers in comparison to Mara- it certainly won't be lagging behind! It's not too late to get back in before we start getting our ducks in a row for the new site in 2022. Will probably save you a lot of anxiety and wasted hours on here and will generally be good for your well-being.
65p lol. He'll be saying this on repeat at regular intervals until 2025.... with zero success
It seems someone sounds like they're more than a little riled about the excellent amount of coins mined for December. Not a 60-70p sp yet, is it? Moron.
Like many of the silent majority, I rarely comment on here, but must stress how much of an absolute moron Chernobyl comes across as. That is all.
Strong rise into close, over and above the morning movements of NEX. The merger deal sounds nailed on, you would think, so the ratio of 0.36 new NEX shares for every 1 full SGC share still seems appealling- at even 90p. Current NEX sp sees a SGC 'real' price of more like 92.5p.
Hector Short Prong: Perhaps you could share with us what type of role you hold with SGC? And perhaps a little more information about what you think is 'to come'? All Doom and gloom with no substance, I'm afraid, unless we read more than just negative-sounding waffle. The sp is on the up at a fairly rapid rate, so what makes you think it'll take a turn for the worse? This has surprised a few people now..... especially the disgruntled and greedy who were calling a sub-500 buy in LOL. Those that got in around 550 called it very well
The FUD spreading about potential funding seems to overlook the fact that a raise will MUCH more likely occur when the sp is healthy again, at 150-200p perhaps. And I'm sure that will have already softened the blow for anyone buying in at 80/90/100p levels, think about it. Weigh up both sides before making an informed decision.
Get rid of some of the initial penny flippers creaming their pants at a 4% rise as we should see some good progress around the sp today. Sentiment of BTC is clearly returning, 53k the next hurdle with ARB back around 120p at that level. WOULDN'T WANT TO BE OUT OF THIS OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD, PERIOD.
Nice one, Splatted. A great success story. I've bought- and largely held- anything from around 60p up to £2.40 and back down to 82p again. I'm not massively away from my average as thing stand, and will hopefully be much nearer to it tomorrow. I still have faith in the vision, despite some questionable decisions by the board.
What are your 'ARBs of the future' that you'd recommend at a still early stage? GST? BLU? Or others? Talking of the old guard, I know Albert said around a year ago he was in BLU and that's just now starting to awaken...... hopefully to much bigger and better things.
WOULDN'T WANT TO BE OUT OF THIS OVER THE WEEKEND!!*
* and 7am Monday, potentially ;-)
Hopefully never gets back anywhere near 125p now so you don't get the chance to. Noone cares for your trades, anyway- you're getting extremely boring!
Entitlement of shares now shows in my account in black and white, including the extra ones from a purchase on the 26th, so the record date was unimportant, as previously stated, so that debate is officially closed now!
The reason the price got up to around 144p that day wasn't only due to shorters, people also realised they were still entitled to the 115p shares and bought in.
I'd say it makes quite a difference to those who bought at 122-127p on Tuesday AND qualify for the 115p shares, too!
Looking like lower lows every time this drops back a bit now, hopefully gets a footing above 130p after this initial turbulence. All the 115p shares are accounted for, most I suspect being taken up by PIs but the rest underwritten and hoovered up at a corporate level. Anyone hoping for sub 115p- or the one pound special- give your head a wobble.
GLA LTH
The entitlement date is ALWAYS the day before the ex-date. This is nothing new and the same for every single rights issue and share offer since the dawn of time I imagine. The stated ex-date was the 27th. You do the math. All brokers are confirming this as the 26th, too. If you bought on the 26th and held at the close of play, then you qualify for that entitlement, also
What's the ACTUAL buy/sell spread like today? Seems to be a lot of short term/day trading going on, and thus plenty who'll eventually get very suddenly left behind pulling their plonkas!
