Well done you, looking back I was a bit naive in thinking it was wise to listen to mr. Cole and stick with it awaiting news, that and other things unfortunately led to a perfect storm and got badly burnt. Not much point in saying on here what I thought of that man and any others who were involved but fair to say in my opinion is it was an orchestrated shambles and carve up for shareholders. Hopefully Bowleven will restore some faith in AIM for me and others and we are all smiling in the next 12 to 18 months.
A good find missdosh, its nice to hear from someone in charge for a change, but Ill still reserve judgement until I see a real positive change in shareholder value. I got burnt with Xcite last year and I invested in Bowleven 6-7 years ago so Ive not had much to cheer about recently. I need more than the 56p which has been talked about by some on here lately for me to break even never mind a profit. I live in hope. Onwards though.
Sold about a quarter of my holding here yesterday, delighted with price and even more ecstatic to see the remainder going higher today, thank you SGP! Had an average of £11.05 for past year and never thought I would see a profit so it would be daft not to cash in. May sell the remainder later this week or tempted to hold till January when Xmas figures come out. Hope everyone else on here is doing well out of this share, good luck to all who remain in.
Don't stop now! :-)

Holding reduced below 7%.
Another blue day on the back of good results, looking like a very good year for SGP after all the previous troubles and I'm pretty confident it will get better so will hold for another 2-3 months and see where it gets us. The company seems to be in very good hands with people in the right places and knowing exactly what has to be done to turn it around so onward we go! Gla.
Hi Trader, that sounds like you got some positive vibes from him, I think it will get better and better and am willing to hold longer, nice to be heading up up up as it has been for a couple of months now. Holding Bowleven for a while now as well as Xcite, they 2 make up about 75% of my portfolio so being patient with them but hoping for some news in both this year or early 2014. Good luck with yours.
Nice blue and a good percentage rise, happy chappy! I first bought in at £18, learnt a hard lesson then, got my average down to £11 by looking at fundamentals, research etc. and buying in at lower price so I'm in profit :-) No idea how high it will go in near future but good luck to all in here.
I think is when trading update is announced, hopefully will be a positive bounce.
Just my personal opinion, I'm quite happy to hold what I've got in here for now. Sept. update on trading figures should be an indicator of how the company is doing, might be a good time to throw some money in then, might not, hopefully it's a positive update. Dyor and Gl.
It actually says Downgrade, a bit confusing if they say a higher price and call it a downgrade. Anyway I never pay too much attention to Broker forecasts they usually have huge range of fluctuating prices and often are way way out at both ends of the spectrum, just look down at a few companies and see where they are and what brokers are saying, you'll see what I mean. I certainly would never invest anything on the back of a brokers forecast, quick way to get fingers burnt and lose some dosh in my opinion. gl.
I see, you said Merrill Lynch but when I look it is Bank of America upgrading from 1175 to 1300 at top of list, excuse my ignorance is that the same company, if so apologies!
I can't see that on my screen on Broker updates, is that from another site?
Would like to think so, not sure wether to hold or sell soon, profit is profit at the end of the day. Probably leave it be for now and enjoy the ride a bit longer, nice to see figures in blue almost every trading day for the last few weeks, long may it continue!
Seems to be nothing but good news coming out lately and looking good for long term prospects, previous management, accounting etc. disasters left behind and company seems focused on what they need to be doing and doing it well. No doubt a lot of people lost out after buying in during the highs up to £18 or so but prospects look good for an upward trend, wether it will reach that high again I have no idea, but it would be nice! I am in profit again but to be honest almost gave up hope just before it started pulling away from £7 plus, was willing to take a loss but glad I resisted for a bit longer. Hopefully the Turkey deal, more stores, sq footage growth, expansion and new range/design keep SGP climbing slowly short and long term, GLA! :-)
