Bit cynical here but somebody's gotta pay Mike's salary!!
This sucks... any chance of appeal or something?
So far... Siesta... waiting for them to wake up
I'm planning to put a sell order at 25p in case Sh*t hits the fan but wary of the transaction being executed immediately given the low limit order.
Can anyone shed some light on whether this could be able to be executed immediately? not sure how it works.
Got it... thanks!!
Or is it a gut feeling?
Any specific reason why you're saying that Paul?
Back in the market.... hopefully only a short term party pooper
You don't even need to try hard haha
Look who's back... A-list pump and dumper Bonkers from Metal Tiger!!!
Good to see you back mate, i've got my popcorn ready, make sure you keep me entertained.
We're at $72/bbl with very positive outlook on supply/demand fundamentals and valuations across the industry keep drifting lower... this is incredible!! O&G is beyond hated.
Guys thinking out loud here...
KRG issues aside, this ESG craze is biting into O&G and especially pure play E&Ps like Genel. We've been at $60-$70 range consistently for a long while now but valuations seem to go nowhere. This is not an overall commodities are cheap across the board thing anymore coz Miners and Agri equities have had a pretty decent run whereas O&G seems to be underperforming.
Investors, Funds, and banks now have ESG mandates and regardless of cash generative nature of O&G companies, they refuse pour in fresh capital into the sector especially not in Oil and pure-plays (maybe Gas at best and that's contingent to having an ESG plan).
Having said that, i'm not saying Genel is a bad company or SP will go to 0 or sth but upside is very limited simply since big money which traditionally pushed equities up during up cycles is no longer there.
i've personally got quite a bit of money on this (at £1 a share) and loving the dividends but i'm starting to think about an exit plan.
Any thoughts?
Probably paella...
Sorry i might need to look more into the numbers and recent events, havent followed up on this in ages as its been the smallest exposure in my portfolio.
Just perplexed how a producing asset is only trading at 6m Market Cap and less than half that in the recent past.
Last time i checked (2 years ago) they had raised c. $30-40m to buy the mine.
how much cash/capital raise would they need to get the production starting?
Same here, looks like BKY is one step closer to getting the mine online despite the Spanish bureaucrats being a pain in the a**.
Probably a good buying opportunity unless i'm missing something.
Any experts here who can help me understand this?
Ricker potential been there for years evidenced by the kalahari find and investments such as GGP but unfortunately this has been run by buffoons not able to extract value from the gems they themselves found... having said that i'm still giving it the benefit of a doubt although i've trimmed my exposure to this as there are way better plays out there whether in precious metals at these valuations or Uranium.
The kid's gotta go (MM), he's been carrying PJ's dirty laundry - minus the enthusiasm and drive - for way too long.
i've gone through 25,000 pop corn bags and Cheesy Tacos in the past 2 years... i'm full haha
