Interesting news just out from PXOG, in relation to Elephant Oil where we own a chunk of equity,....GL S Elephant Oil Limited ("Elephant") The Company has today acquired 587,120 new Ordinary Shares in Elephant Oil for a consideration of £100,000, and now holds a 2.54% interest in the company. Elephant is a UK based oil exploration company with a focus on onshore West Africa. Its primary asset is Block B, an exploration block in Benin. The directors of Prospex have been following this company for a number of years and believe it is now an ideal time to invest. The directors believe the company has made good progress with its asset in this time and to a level that Prospex believe that industry interest may lead to a significant event that can unlock the company's intrinsic value. The board believe that African oil and gas assets valuations have reset themselves having stayed higher for longer before the correction in hydrocarbon prices and believe the investment is consistent with the Company's investment strategy being a minority position in an unquoted company with the potential for growth. The investment increases the range of investments by introducing an additional upstream element to the portfolio. As set out in Elephant's last published accounts (unaudited) for the year ending 31 January 2015 the company reported zero revenue, a loss before taxation of £196,044 and total assets of £1,799,301.

"The business has yet to secure development funding from either venture capital or private equity markets. As such we see Ve as being ideally suited to public markets at some point either subsequent to or simultaneously with a more traditional equity backed fundraising led by an established banking institution. The Board, having met with certain of its key supportive shareholders such as Andrew Black and Nigel Wray are therefore delighted that Concha has been able to secure an early engagement in what it believes will be an exciting chapter in V's development."

I think he has bought again and quite clearly IMHO he is still active in the market, it certainly adds some further intrigue, especially with the RTO plans being progressed, the question is for WHAT?......GL S

Kk, Everything points to corporate activity IMHO and I think DC is just keeping things ticking over until all the ducks are in a row, It just seems odd that we have a new advisor, legacy holdings being cleared, a new mkt maker has joined to day, stock looks as if it is being accumulated, new partnerships and agreements being signed, it just does not feel like the end of the road, more like the beginning of a new journey...hopefully!...dyor etc....GL S

Their new partner Team Rock raised £4.5M for brand expansion a couple of months ago, so what do they have in mind? and why is DC continuing to bank roll all group costs?.....GL S
