I said on here rather cryptically about a month back keep an eye on that single metric as a guide to 'how the wind is blowing' for us. SC6 now appears to be rocketing :) PS Think it was India about a year back went on effectively a war footing to acquire critical elements supply. Recognising it's that important. Looking forward to Tuesday. So quiet on here no problem only underscores not fully recognised yet. That's when u want in, no good after the event.
Agree with all and it was the sumo Panasonic deal in my mind. I too also think there are considerable forces at play from US Biden echelons whom are now acutely aware of the huge catch up needed for strategically critical minerals, they really do not want anymore going to China control. EGM, demerger, then the gold lest we forget. Often said, but really is interesting times.
Post spin off I think theres a fair chance Sumo will be looking to agree a take off for the other half. Makes strategic sense for all concerned. Thing is, demand is getting so high I can't see the remaining resource sitting in the window. Seems strange as mine indeed is some way off, but the Li EV market is all about forward positioning today for what's happening in mid 2020s and beyond. Appreciate IRR Ewoyaa may get taken out way before 2025, some would say it's likely.
I picked up on this article at the time. 'Perpetual deficit'. It's a powerful, emphatic term that remained lodged in my thinking. It underscores why I think our other 50% is in reality is already sold many times over. The challenge is to enlarge the resource, which as we are aware is in progress.
Agree. What's niggling me is I'm not totally clear on how our other IIs view the PLL deal, the resolutions presumably are not foregone conclusions and require IIs to vote through. I'd like to assume VM has squared it all away and the EGM just rubber stamps? Hopefully I'm seeing issues that simply are not there, will know next week.
Looks to me like someone is drip selling. Everyone has there reasons, just a little concern its ahead of the EGM, hope nothing negative in store / leaks.

One can dare to dream; tbh it is a proposition that's ticks many of those guys boxes, Musk especially very open that's he will partner / contract with any suitable entity that can produce sufficiently clean nickel. The green credentials are paramount in these times (rightly imo)
With PLL commitments to clients they well and truly need all what's here. Suggest read the PLL corporate update. More likely they try to up from 50% than pull out. Scarcity of product.
majors flush at the moment. Personally I think GLEN will swoop and have deep pockets and won't dwell too much on price. It make sense for them, they'll only look at significant size plays like this, and the options are limited. Commod trading company, in demand Ni...in fairness they'll make a killing.
The very latest positive macros are aligning more or less exactly with our finance. Never rebuff a bit of luck however strong the business case, it all helps. Exciting juncture imo.
Theres some tremendous Ni macros flying about ATM, BHP one amongst many. We may just be hitting a sweet spot. U need lucky Generals .. that's an ancient saying as relevant today as the day it was uttered. We may just be on the right horse..
Fair play Lawrence. Personally, let's just get the financing at a decent level, above 6 be great, anything 5 plus good enough imo, being realistic. After that I'll start looking at the billions :) GLA
