The finalists for the #VRAwards are live! We’re proud to
say we’re included in not just 1 but 2 categories, amongst some very worthy competition - VR Healthcare of the Year & Innovative VR Company of the Year - Thank you @VRAwards #wearefundamental #HapticVR
Fundamental Surgery, pioneers of immersive HapticVRTM training technology, which combines virtual reality (VR) with haptics (sense of touch), today announced the expansion of their Global Medical Panel with Professor David R. Farley joining as the latest member. In his role, he will guide the development of the education platform with a particular focus on general surgery.
Professor Farley is a surgical consultant in the Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic. He joined the department in 1994 and served as the director of the General Surgery residency program for 15 years. He now holds the academic rank of professor of surgery, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science with focus on general, endocrine, breast and minimally invasive surgery disciplines. His academic achievements are focused on surgical education and simulation training to create better surgeons in less time.
Professor Farley has helped train over 300 young surgeons and is a member of the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine Hall of Fame for teaching. He has authored over 300 articles and abstracts as well as co-wrote three books and has given hundreds of international, national and regional presentations. He was the co-editor for both Operative Techniques in General Surgery and Contemporary Surgery.
“I am excited to work with an extraordinary group of forward-thinking surgeons, scientists, engineers and educators to collaborate in creating dynamic, engaging and useful resources for surgical learners of varied skills and experience,” said Professor Farley. “The ability to allow learners to practice, see, and feel the correct way to proceed with critical operative steps and procedures is a giant leap forward to enhance surgical performance and improve patient safety and outcomes.”
In his new role, Professor Farley will be an integral team member in the development of Fundamental Surgery’s general surgery simulations and will play a large part in FundamentalVR’s global mission to democratize surgical simulations and training, allowing it to be easily accessible to every surgeon in the world for the wider benefit of society.
Listed by Time magazine as one of their “Best inventions of 2018,” Fundamental Surgery is a first-of-its-kind SaaS platform that combines virtual reality (VR) with cutting-edge haptics and leading educational practice to create a low-cost and scalable surgical education and rehearsal experience for trainee and qualified surgeons. Fundamental Surgery creates an environment that allows users to experience and navigate the same visuals, sounds and feelings they would during a real surgical procedure. Simulations can be downloaded for as little as $9,000 a year for unlimited users, with surgical program managers able to access an online dashboard of all of their trainees’ performance.
The new appointment comes after FundamentalVR announced a three-year strategic collaboration and joint development agreement with Mayo Clinic, the US leading academic m

KeyScaler supports any device, any IoT platform, any Certificate Authority, and any Network. KeyScaler can now be deployed inside Docker containers, which expands this agnostic approach to the hosting infrastructure technology, allowing support for any operating system and any infrastructure. KeyScaler Docker support improves ease of deployment, reduces installation and configuration complexity, allows for automated scaling, and provides cost savings for deployment and management, all while accelerating time to market.
London, UK and Fremont, USA – Device Authority, a global leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM) for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced two of its latest KeyScaler platform developments with Microsoft Azure IoT Hub Device Provisioning Service (DPS) and Docker.
Device Authority has developed a complimentary set of solutions for Microsoft, their customers and partners, to enable their end to end service offerings with enhanced security, and to accelerate, optimize, and leverage their investments in Internet of Things (IoT) deployments. Device Authority brings simplified and automated device registration, onboarding, provisioning and management of credentials for IoT devices that connect to Azure IoT Hub.
Device Authority’s latest software release (KeyScaler 6.4) includes a Microsoft Azure IoT Hub DPS Connector which leverages KeyScaler EPIC (Enhanced Platform Integration Connector) technology, providing customers and partners with reduced complexity, reduced risk and improved security. KeyScaler automates many tasks for DPS, provides device attestation, and also acts as the source of truth for IoT devices.
“Our product strategy focuses on developments for our KeyScaler platform based on demand from our strategic customers and partners, and in recent months several have asked us to make KeyScaler plug and play for the Microsoft Azure IoT toolset. Today we can better help Microsoft and its partners and customers with our Security Suite for Azure IoT,” said Darron Antill, CEO of Device Authority.

Was in a year ago, got out at .65p but am considering buying back in, bitcoin seems to be going crazy again and investment companies like Vela will share in some of this more positive sentiment at some point slightly further down the road. Sum of parts worth more than current mc imo
The entering in to a debenture with FVRVS is a normal course event when Tern makes loans to investee companies. The loan in question to FVRVS was of a size that is not material to Tern and not required to be disclosed under the AIM Rules as a RNS announcement.
Furthermore, the loan advance does not change Tern’s net asset value. Matters which are not disclosed via a regulatory announcement are always considered for inclusion in the portfolio updates that are issued periodically.
FundamentalVR is excited to announce that they are a founding member of the IVRHA Organization. Others include 8 Universities, 5 Research Institutions, and 27 Technology Companies.
Our partnership with The Association will mean we are able to play a critical role in coordinating the design, development, and promulgation of industry standards and best practices for the use of VR/AR technology as part of the next generation of digital medical systems.
What is the solution and why does my organization need it?
The solution is an implementation of Device Authority’s KeyScaler client-side API for MULTOS high-
security Trust Anchor chip solution. It enables organisations to adopt a Secure by Design approach
and cost-effectively build IoT devices that meet the security requirements expected by industry and
increasingly demanded by consumers. In the near future these security requirements will become
mandatory as regulation catches up with the market. Devices connecting to the cloud and enterprise
infrastructure employing this technology can be built, programmed, onboarded and managed at scale in a
highly secure manner at every stage with a proven hardware root of trust at their core.

The Board of Directors of Seal Software, the leading provider of contract discovery, data extraction, and analytics, announced that it has named Michael Sheridan as a new board member. Currently the chief financial officer at DocuSign (NAS: DOCU), Sheridan has worked in financial strategy and operations for over 30 years—the past 20 of which have seen him serve in CFO roles for various high-growth technology and software companies, including Facebook and FireEye. In that time, Mike has overseen five successful IPOs and served as CFO for three of them.
“Seal is fortunate to have Mike’s expertise at building and scaling high-growth tech companies as we move to the next level,” said Seal Software CEO and co-founder, Ulf Zetterberg. “He brings financial leadership and a track record of creating value for stakeholders to his board role, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have him on our team.”
This announcement follows DocuSign’s recent strategic investment of $15 million in Seal Software, which was made just a week after the company launched the DocuSign Agreement Cloud. The investment supports the companies’ work to automate and connect the entire process of how agreements are prepared, signed, enacted, and managed. It also expands the partnership formed between DocuSign and Seal Software in 2018, which saw Seal’s artificial intelligence-based agreement discovery, extraction, and analytics solutions offered as a pre-integrated extension to DocuSign eSignature.
“I have tremendous respect for Seal’s innovative AI technology and what they have achieved so far,” said Sheridan. “I look forward to working with the other board members as the company continues its trajectory.”
The market-leading platform developed by Seal Software applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to dramatically and accurately speed up the process of finding, extracting, and analyzing valuable data from vast numbers of complex documents. It gives users access to a broader and deeper set of insights than any similar solution, so companies can manage their legal exposure, control spending, identify potential revenue, remediate risk, and make better overall business decisions.
