Thanks Eric, that does help...one can get a bit sleepy reading those documents and I missed the non CREST shareholders, yes, good. And the Aggregate bit didn't apply to me. So that's settled, I'll get my options through Barclays and my other options as Extras, my two holdings are a similar amount.

But I've just had a brain wave, mixing my cake and not thinking about Options at all and it suddenly came to me in a flash...pre-emptive doesn't mean first come first served...it means before it becomes necessary. :-) Eurika! Don't worry about it, Al there's plenty time and I think they're all shared out at the closing date which makes my plan a bit risky. I'm going to count up currents and sultanas, apricots, prunes and cherries...then back to the decimal sums on Monday smoothing out the numbers 'cos I like 'em in evens, uphill innit. Then next year on we go, digging for gold in Kosovo and I hope it's going to be fun.

Thanks Eric. Do you know if it's easy to transfer certificates into ISAs, can't stand hassle, thought I remembered you'd done it.

Received a letter from Barclays this morning, enclosing details of the corporate action only there wasn't any document enclosed...not that I need it because I've already got one. Small dilemma I have is that I'd like to transfer my options to my ISA and there are instructions to do it in the the Prospectus through CREST but I don't know what that is. Might talk to someone at Barclays later, the phone lines are reduced times due to Corvid...didn't know you could catch it over the phone. I've had a thought that I could apply for all my entitlement through the Extra offer straight into my ISA but that would be risky if there was a big demand simple otherwise, but we don't want otherwise do we.

Thanks for that Hasty. We'll have to stand then like the thin red line. Lol. But as I've said before, taking the options strengthens the company by increasing capital, it's worth it imo compared to saving a couple of pence buying them cheap.

I've decided to take all mine, half in certificated shares with a cheque to the Registrar first and then when I've heard what KU have got to say I'll decide how many more to take in my ISA.. from what I've read in the Prospectus you can do that in two transactions. Haven't read the Barclays document yet had an email this morning. What does pre-emptive mean, is it first come first served or do they allocate them all when the time has expired?

Right, I've read it now...sort of. It's too messy so far as I can tell to transfer Options from certificated shares to ISAs so I'm going to do the easy thing and treat them as two different transactions, sending a cheque to Neville Registrars and buying the on-line by pressing the button, soon as I've managed to find the money.

It's well set out and very detailed but I'm still getting my head round it... I want to take all my Options in ISAs and I have half and half certificated and uncertificated. It says you can do that but I haven't been able to get into Barclays yet. I don't know what CREST is, I presume it's online shares with whoever deals with them for you.

Eric, about that 16p rise...is Linus hinting at that in his last letter?

Morning All. My envelope just came and it's very big probably take me all day to read it. Thanks for your valuable input everyone, it does need a bit of thought. Eric...the historical matter of previous Options is complicated and I've been thinking about the implications of it...nobody could have imagined then that it would take more than five years to deliver this Concession. And, the Board are subscribing to this Offer at the going rate. Stick around. x
