Ibjj...To be fair, the Mining Inspector, Asa Persson did give her answer; she was made to investigate it twice...and she said Yes twice.

Ibjj...Those are very salient points...we're all waiting for an answer, even you yourself and you're not even invested and you're for a mine as well...we're absolutely gripped by it, it's like a Kafka novel! Though I must add I don't tend to read novels, real life is complicated enough for me.

For instance, if he was decidedly against a mine that would be bad; so the fact that he's decidedly for it must be very good. The Government are supposed to take local administration into account...why does the CAB have more influence when they're not elected and we don't know who they represent..and that's not to mention that their reasons for being against a mine are demonstrably incorrect.

It isn't his decision, granted...but he isn't a nobody, he has a political allegiance and a position in local government, which must give him some influence.

Bernhardsson is Mayor of Jokkmokk and a member of the Social Democrats I believe.

About the Ministers forthcoming departure...my own thoughts are, why wouldn't he want to wrap this up before he goes? What good would it do for him to be the Minister who couldn't decide on an issue he'd been sorting out for three years having held both Industry and Enterprise and Rural Affairs? Then again, I've never thought the decision was his to make...it's all down to the MP by the looks of it.

Yes, Eric, it was an interesting story... just looked her up and her films...Look Back in Anger and The Spy Who Came in from The Cold, very famous but never I've never seen any. The Board is more interesting when we're not afraid to talk about the weather. When you think we've known one another some of us for more than a decade...why shouldn't we...whose to tell us off? Treetop...I couldn't care less about them these days, they can ridicule as much as they like...BEM's case is made and it's a very good one, the Company has survived everything thrown at it and time is on our side now, imo.
