Really appreciate you OHS! It's unfounded to claim you are ramping up your opinion against investors. Your posts have been of incredible value for my research, and trust me, I wholly make up my own decision to invest in this company. Like Lesserof2weevils said, don't bother responding, waste of time.
The good part (or bad part) about Simec is that the company is relatively unknown outside the UK. I stumbled on it by accident and recognized the tidal turbines from a youtube video I had seen somwhere. That drew my interest and I was shocked to see the market cap was below 100 M with all the potential this company has to offer. Fact is, that if Simec was listed on the Nasdaq, it's valuation would've been 3 to 6 times higher than where it's standing now. Anyway, when some of these projects really take off the company will get it's well deserved publicity world wide. For the moment the stock is a steal and I plan on doubling my position soon! Patience is key with this company and I plan on holding for 10 years at least (as long as fundamentals keep improving). Would 10 pounds a share be a crazy price target in 10 years? I don't think so. Thoughts?
Merry christmas to all the longs! Special thanks for all the extensive research you guys provide for new investors. 2021 will be a game changer for Simec, aiming for 100 pence eoy. Cheers!
Shame the SP has gotten so low. With no near term catalysts the coming weeks things are not necessarily bound to improve. I'll just make the best of it and add more shares over the coming weeks since, as you guys pointed already out, the stock has been fairly de-risked. I have to free up some funds in order to do so, but I plan on doubling my position in the coming months. Nevertheless the future looks bright for SAE, and impatient investors will eventually see what they missed out on.
Added 10.000 more, couldn't resist this chance. Pure on tidal based alone this SP is undervalued since 2021 looks to be a promising year for the tidal industry.
Not concerned, delay was expected. I'm holding this stock for 10 years at least so not nervous at all. Will look if I have some more spare funds to add more at this bargain price. Long & strong
It seems like Simec has won the Champion of Renewables award!

"UK doubles down on renewables with 12GW CfD4"
https://renews.biz/64630/
Interesting quote: Scottish Renewables policy director Morag Wilson said the association welcomed the CfD scheme and its inclusion of onshore wind and the dedicated pot for offshore wind and support for innovative technologies such as floating wind.
Wilson added: "However, differences between Scotland and the rest of the UK need to be accounted for in all areas to ensure there is a level playing field for Scottish projects, particularly the disproportionate impact transmission charging costs pose for Scottish projects.
“Not addressing these disadvantages will hamper progress towards a geographically diverse energy system and reaching the level of deployment needed to achieve net zero.”
The UK government awards a total of 12 GW in CFD's next year. Let's assume 2/3 or 8W go towards terrestial technologies and offshore wind. That leaves floating wind and tidal with 4GW. It is very likely that Simec attains a CFD for MeyGen imo. MeyGen phase 1C consists of only 73.5 MW so that leaves room for multiple CFD's. Would it be likely that Simec receives more CFD's for MeyGen phase 2 & 3? Or would it be more likely that Simec receives CFD's for other UK projects (in that case, which ones do you guys expect to commence first?) or would it even be an optionality that besides MeyGen 1C, Simec receives no other CFD's? Would love to hear some views on this.
Great news! Glad I averaged down to 22.8 during the recent dip. Bright future ahead for tidal and Simec. I'd like to thank all in here for doing proper research on this company and sharing it with fellow investors.
Dank haha! Ik ga mijn best doen! (<-- Dutch)

Beautiful day to add. Renewables are getting slaughtered in the US as well. Now sitting on 50K shares avg. 23.30. Will add more if we hit 18 pence.
Hi Guys, I'm new here. Really enjoy reading your informative posts. I'm an 18 year old investor from the Netherlands and discovered SAE by accident, glad I did. The company definitely is really unknown here, and I assume only some people from the UK are aware of it's existence. Bought myself 30K shares and will hold long, at least till 2025. Again, thanks for the valuable info! Keep it coming.
