PERCY VERANCE the 1st, soon to begin his short life, hopefully to be followed by many brothers and sisters in the near future.

On the BPC web site, HL and Barclays have been listed as major shareholders for along time.
Once drilling dates are confirmed, hopefully hysteria will take over as word spreads and thoughts of quick easy profits take control of the minds of the masses sending the sp soaring.
Fatalcharm , as every post that you have written today has the number 45 on it ,then it may take a few life times to reach 13492. I am intrigued as to whether you have any need for mirrors in your house, as the sun seems to bother you.
NOSTALGIA anagrams to LOST AGAIN, just saying.
Thanks to JBT and Armatrading for your help, I phoned up the broker and the reason it was showing the open offer shares as not eligible in an ISA was that they are temporary prior to being included, if that makes sense. I now have bought my full quota.
Sometimes this feels like putting a huge bet on a horse to win without knowing what the odds are. ATB
I only hold shares in an ISA, but a message on my account says these shares are not eligible to be bought in an ISA. Short of opening up a new account is there any way around this predicament.
I recall a post by POC a few months ago in which he mentioned that when a small oil explorer is seeking a farm in with a large oil company they would need to be careful not to let them choose the point of drilling as they might deliberately drill a dud and bankrupt the explorer and take it over.
With that in mind, perhaps this could explain why no farm in deal has happened and by going it alone through raising the finance, BPC maintains full control of its destiny.
As Simon Potter does not anagram to PageofCups, I am intrigued when you say that you may have the inside edge, can you elaborate a little on that statement?
BPC has put a new Investor Presentation on its website which is worth a look to keep up to date.
Have the MMs run out of red ink or are things looking up
Lynthip. Perhaps dotting the eyes might help them all to recognise the dotted lines they need to sign and make us all happy.
From the start of the year until the 21st of February, the closing sp never rose above 1.5p, then the various GoB members spoke out and the anticipation of an imminent deal caused the sp to treble from 1.28p to 3.70p in two weeks
only to fall back on no new news.
Now because of a share raising at 1.6p you would think the bottom has fallen out of the BPC world with a lot of the
comments and guess work made here. It certainly would have without this injection of cash.
Treat the drop in price as a buying opportunity .
IMO this deal is going to happen, just be patient.
I'm quite sure that the word about the potential BPC deal has been brought to the attention of many people who 48 hours ago had never heard of the company, so there is likely to be a mass scramble for shares tomorrow morning with share price rising rapidly.
Perhaps when Simon Potter suggested that geology was a factor in the cessation of the exclusive talks, it could have been BPC withholding vital information pinpointing the best places for successful oil strikes.
Perhaps there are some who have misunderstood what BPC stands for. So instead of Bahamas Petroleum Company they have interpreted it as ' Be Persistently Childish' Any other suggestions?
On many posts it has been suggested that the BG has been obstructive to BPC moving towards the drilling stage. It does seem very odd that the BG leases the licences to BPC presumably at some considerable cost and would then deny them the right to drill for oil having met all legal and environmental requirements.
