I Have noticed how often at close of trading hours, that the closing price is decided by a trade marked UT - uncrossed trade at 16.35+ seconds. Today 3 trades went through at 16.35, 2 were priced at 2.85 and 1 at 2.61 which was marked UT and decided the closing price. This was on the London Stock Exchange. This seems rather contrived as it happens every day. Does anybody have some insight into this?
Just a reminder that The Bahamas are 5 hours behind the UK, so anything official will be released during business hours, so afternoon for us.
Fossil fuel . Must have been thinking of an old fossil.
Essy Bootle if you google her/his name has complained about the planes flying through Bahamas air space and not paying a fee to The Bahamas government for doing so. Don't planes use fossil to power them? Where does she/he think it comes from. another NIMBY.

Fatal. Just had a look at Stena drill ships availability. Looks like you have misread the availability from the operational.
The reluctance of enough buyers at this time to raise the share price , made me visualise a lake when it starts freezing over in winter and the gradual testing your weight to see if the ice is thick and strong enough and when it is many more people will have the confidence to step onto the ice and not fear falling through and being wiped out. I have seen people driving cars on a frozen lake in Canada ( you could carry a lot of shares in a car ). Just an analogy.
0.14 ! when was that?
With so many shares now issued, perhaps its time to consolidate the shares and move away from being a penny share as befits a growing oil company.
'Bearish candlesticks coming down' -- If they were broomsticks we might be going up.
I must be missing something here. All these new shares being issued if the merger goes through, go to former Cerp shareholders, so all that is happening is that BPC will have a much larger shareholder base, so where is the dilution?
in Siberia just announced. This will give the Bahamas environmentalists something to shout about.
Reading this article I got the impression it was written at a very fast pace. I wonder what substance was powering his brain?
There is an article on the financial state of Haliburton on Seeking Alpha from last Friday 3/4/20.
I don't have a clue how to set a link to it . ATB.
My bald patch seems to be gaining in size from all the head scratching I do when trying to fathom out the meaning of some of the abbreviations that appear on the board. If somebody had a bit of spare time, perhaps a list could be created , it would be very much appreciated.
I thought the 240.000 figure of people who starve to death each day looked excessive , so I googled the number and it came up as 25.000 per day . Such numbers show how out of balance the distribution of food is around the world and/or there are too many humans alive today.
Perhaps one reason for todays lack of upward movement in the sp is the need to regrow confidence that this is going to happen, which may seem as certain as it can be to us long term holders, but with the recent rapid rises and falls hesitation to commitment is understandable.
The closing price on LSE is 5.05, on the London Stock Exchange it is 4.85 and on BPC website it is 5.18, take your pick.
