Agree that Russia-Ukraine conflict is not likely a motivation to sell. However it is effecting risk appetite and buying at present across the whole market, which inversely affects us.

Ye very true but I think if it goes below 1p that would still give me a further jolt of fear. I'm hoping we can avoid that scenario but sadly cant rule it out at present

Not quite sure if a positive outcome on the durability tests would even register as a blip on the day its released, only have to look back at Nov to see that and that was before share agreement. We need a ceo and we need a deal with numbers attributed for this to move unfortunately. I dont expect much this quarter, I do hope I'm wrong and would love a bit of trilby.

They didn't immediately need funds and it doesn't take a genius given market interest this year to predict how this would likely play out releasing both at same time.

Hi Soup, I agree but peeps are asking the reason for the decline to new lows I'm simply answering the most logical point of view. I haven't sold (wish I had now as I wasnt expecting a decline of this magnitude, could've bought back more). I'm in it for the long haul like most of you but fed up with nfx a bit, surely they could have held off on this until q1 at least. Market was not exactly excited despite the positive results for both nxp002 and nxp004 and the license deal for nxp001. I'm frustrated as I've maxed the ISA so cant take advantage to lower avg.

I'd say it's the half year results publizhed alongside the share subcription agreement. Irrespective of its merits to nfx and the success in the science this year they're referencing 110m new shares issued with **** poor half year revenues. Looking at nfx and its market engagement this year it's about what I expect from them, alot of punters I suspect would not have read much further beyond that.

just to clarify not sure of Julian Higgins intentions but i think we can have a good guess Alan and David would have sold more during this year, but no way of knowing of course.

It's an interesting and useful link but not sure how they could be sure of DT and ACs positions today? They're below legal requirement to report and no longer listed directors, so surely it's just taken from the last notified announcement

i think we should stop focusing on developing life saving drugs and start developing digital tokens or nft's which we then could market through social media influencer's, to get the millennials excited. This is a strategy that would generate market interest in 2021.

I've been confused for some time with the markets valuation of nfx this year, until i realized something the other day. I've just lost touch with how finance works in 2021. The way finance works today is that things are not valuable based on assets, cash flow, or potential to generate cash flow. Instead things are now valued proportionally by their proximity to Elon Musk. I will be voting to change nuformix's name to #Elonmix next year, then "to the moon" we go.

retail investors drive the price action at present, without larger ii interests involved I think revenues need to be referenced to create a sustained rise in valuation. Rns's in nov proved we have not misplaced our faith in the company.

Thanks soup, I'm still not sure myself. I mean if u look at avg volume it's been steadily rising since late Oct. Its been in the public domain that we were expecting 2 sets of potential company changing results in q4 for our lead assets, values have been referenced by allenby for the placing. In addition we saw all time lows early Oct taking us well below the lowest part of that valuation. Still below that range even with nxp001 concluding, Anne's departure and market frustration with nfx seemingly being the main cause, I think people began to con on that it was overdone. But you may be right though I just dont want to think there are still leaks at nfx after the last affair.

I dont know if u guys are being serious or not but i stand by my original post since DT left I've not seen or heard of any leaks on any news good or bad. Would love it if any of you can elaborate further?

No one knows anything beyond what is in the public domain Taz. Recent price action was in my opinion a mix of anticipation of news and being in oversold territory on chart trend. Nfx have had experience with leaks in the past that caused them significant issues, I have not seen anything in the past year or so to suggest there are any leaks, their comms on successful outcomes have been muted to a degree as well so I highly doubt a leak is the cause

Good news, looking forward to the nxp002 data announcement. This should hopefully contain more information they can share with the market.

Does it really matter? She's going and soon, i do wish she'd stayed with us longer and hope to see the fruit of some of her work before we see her leave. I still think it was a shrewd move by CB to bring her on when he did, she has a unique cv.

I miss the days nfx were referred to as a potential unicorn. This was of course back in the days before the board game of thrones escapades. If only I had a crystal ball or a delorean with mad scientist.

To add to this conversation, I cant see any reason why it would be in Dan's interest to frustrate nfx being as he still holds a good proportion of the company's stock. The work they are planning for OXL001 will only benefit us in improving speed to market and as unlocking milestones and potential royalties at a quicker pace than we would have expected, as well as further acheiving nfx stated aims in this deal of proving the validity of their approach for the purposes of what I would assume to be improving their negotiating position with nxp002 and nxp004
