I have learnt the hard way NOT to invest in these type of companies. Hard times are coming. Avoid companies that are not producing who have no cash. You are likely to be substantially worse off.

Guess tomorrow. Nice gamble. But will they extend again?

I have not checked but the stats notes have great tax reconciliations and disclosures. Amortisation will be another reason.

Taxable profits are not accounting profits. Many items such as depreciation on assets are calculated differently for tax. Also derred tax muddies the waters. I could write a book on it but I will not bore you all.

This week is likely to see a 200% rise or a 50% drop. With no robust news on the cash, my bet is in the latter.

There will always be sales. Best ignore them. All good imo.

I am very interested to know what the cash position is at Q3 and if BRD is now profitable. I have a feeling they are and soon they will be very profitable. The gems are if very high quality and command a great price.

I am switching to investments that I think will do well in a down turn.

One shining star is diamond miner BRD. MCAP £5m and they keep on finding high value gems as they hit higher grade ore. Q3 production results due first week of October. Could be a quick trade. DYOR
