I though it would be hard for a company to be worse than Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG), but then along came Zenith Energy (ZEN). There was some serious competition last week from Ascent Resources (AST), which is being “rescued” by James Parsons, and Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG), where the group wanting to take over is even worse than the current management, but Zenith easily trumps them both. There was so much nonsense from ZEN last week, it would take up most of the blog, so all I’ll say for now is go to SEDAR (https://www.sedar.com), look at the accounts they just filed, whose actual numbers they didn’t even want to include in their 6.29pm Friday night RNS, and ask yourself: what actually happens to all the cash they raise?

But look at the income statement in the financial statements on the website. A loss of nearly 10m CAD not mentioned in the RNS. Ouch. With admin expenses sky high, I now understand why ZEN needs to constantly raise. Imo this is unlikely to make a profit and will go under unless they can get the flow rates in the 000's bopd as a matter of urgency. No more delays please.

Good luck. I think the main factor is no news for a while. The BFS will take many months and punters are trying to make money elsewhere. Time will tell.

Hi MT1. Unlike ROSE MKA has a route to production. Although DYOR I suggest you spend half an hour watching the presentation from last Autumn. If course there is risk but the upside is high.

I for one do not understand the grades. The RNS should be more bullish and indicate if the resource is likely to be borderline or very commercial and reemphasize the current cash position.

Perhaps Talaxis is interested in another jv? What was that meeting about last week with the ministers? Lot happening behind the scenes.

AAOG conned the investors and now imo ZEN. No flows rates were ever given and I suspect problems with the geology means it is not commercial. God knows and best of luck. If this deal goes pairshape it could bring ZEN under.

I bought in GGP when NM walked away from EG and the SP crashed. I agree they have been great at news flow and pr. A bit more of that here would be a good thing.

I bought some GGP shares at 0.6p and sold them a few months later at 0.8p. At the time I was happy but now I am kicking myself for they are currently over 5p. No one wanted the shares. GGP was full of doom, no news was due and other pumps were going on so investors moved on and lost out.

This is a similar share imo. Massive resource, cash in bank and a JV partner to production. Hold and buy while no one is interested because very soon they will be.

Trouble is their past record is dreadful so the market is wary of horrific delays, failures and more dilutions. There is no way on earth that the African drill will happen this April.

Shocking interest rate and dangling carrot again. We will see what the market thinks.
