Good to see reasonable looking grades at shallow depth! Hasn't seemed to have drawn much in the way of support just yet.. more grades to come though and the yilgarn licences cant be too far away!
Hard to keep up with this torrent of drill results as promised!.. so much for the quick turn around of results, or does the company already have them??
Its been a long long time since the market has seen any real activity, years in fact.. does this change?
Hmm.. well what's the odds on a late Friday rns?
Quite often I'm inclined to agree with that sentiment flappingc, I think the market and investors are aware that the Philippines project Isn't going anywhere due to mining/exploration restrictions and SLM has been one of those 'near term production project's' for literally years on end with zero to show for it. The projects themselves of course look fair, however its tedious to see the company wave the flag about them when nothing material changes!
If a lifting of mining restrictions take place, or actual exploration begins then great! let the market know. Better still if a JV for SLM is found or a buyer comes in offering a few buck, then ramp that! Otherwise it appears to me as low impact packing..
On the plus side the previous results were positive, with plenty more results to come, what they will be is anyone's guess, the company is in desperate need for something that resembles a viable project to make it through the elusive 1p
Indeed, chip samples from Creswick should be interesting enough.. Although with all the recent tweets regarding the current portfolio does make me wonder about the Iceberg due diligence and just how that's going. My scepticism is struggling to give it a 50/50 chance presently..
What's the chances of positive rock chip samples from Creswick along with not so positive news on Iceberg?
Either way, I do at some point see a new project/revival taking place in good time, its a low Mcap vehicle ripe for some traction and a ramp fest.. Mind you, progress is extremely slow so it would be nice to see some ACTUAL progress being made!!
Still plenty of talk from the company about Australia!! Victoria!! Gold production!! Battery Metals!!!! just haven't seen a lot of action in terms of drilling recently :( just how many meters has this company drilled in the last three years exactly? I'm not surprised in the slightest there is a lot of interest from investors to fund a decent project.. especially at this low MCAP
-Take the funding at a discount + warrants
-Add project
-Hype, spin and ramp its ti#s off
-churn when bagged
Worth noting that the price of natural gas seems to have increased a good 30% since the start of the month, one would think this is a positive for the company considering the recent transition to a producer!
Amazing isn't it, AST looks to have shaky production figures from memory, so a reduction in gas flow, a licence that never gets signed off and a BOD that are unable to raise funds.. Not an ideal investment case and I think a lot of share holders there were banking on the licence landing so a risky one IMO, soon to be able to raise through a share issue though so I'm expecting that 10m mcap to drift quite some way.
Yet over here, Ed has delivered what he set out to in terms of Romania all within 11 months, enabling the company to secure a loan note for furthering Italy and Spain, this of course all takes time but provides potential on three fronts. A BOD that has delivered and projects in the working with increasing production outlooks, all for an mcap of 3m ish! Hence building a position..
Feels like the churn has slowed somewhat and now back in the buy zone
Question is, what sort of news will see it break 1p and hold above??
What ever happened to that share talk interview promised last month? surely the cheque has cleared?
Feels like some of the lase raise needs to be churned through before making it beyond 1p by any substantial amount.. at 40% ish profit some would surely de-risk to some extent.
Once the Chinese investors intensions to hang around are clearer/confirmed, moving past 1p may be easier.. along with good news of course!!
Ah I see, keep it spicific hu!
An how does one think AST came on to my radar i wonder.. hmm
Thanks skully, what I've learnt so far is that gaining a permit looks to be a real pain for a lot of companies. The de-watering aspect sounds positive and so does the estimated gas in ground.. I shall continue looking into the finances..
Thanks lovejoy I shall bear it in mind, I spoke to an old tinker the other day who said the same..
Afrim, indeed, always worth making comparisons although AST looks a little further on in production terms. Could have been and nearly was, however I just wasn't quick enough/had the balls for the dip.. Bit slow with the trigger finger due to lack of research! which I shall continue!
Not currently an investor and not up to speed with oil & gas, but trying to figure out an investment case between AST & PXOG..
I've noticed the current production here is about 1.2mcf/d roughly, if the production permit is signed off, what is the expected additional rate of production?? and what funding commitment will that involve??
Looked like quite a tense week over here, hope the burnings were kept to a minimum... followed by a more stable week this week!
sm
Seeing as he isn't on the board or an employee of the company, this would make him a PI just like anyone else I suspect
Agree with that tamer, would be great indeed
You are in some ways correct, Michael Johnson is a sprinter, so was Ben Johnson in fact and I suspect neither have yet bought shares in ECR (un confirmed). However, Michelle i think would be his wife thus owning 7% jointly
Think he stepped down from MTR a while back and stepped down from THR last week
Who knows i guess, should be quite interesting over the coming months... although i have thought that more times than i care to remember
Nothing wrong with a little speculation there Tamer the 2nd, very intuitive if I may say so
For what its worth my expectations are;
Due diligence and exploration licence application for a new project - gold, cobalt, lithium or maybe uranium
Once received, deal to aquire new project followed by RNS
'IF' the project looks interesting enough (i suspect & hope it is of course) then i would support Craig in the purchace of a brand new chair for the office and promote the second coming of the messiah himself to raise this pigs ar#e from the ashes
All in my humble etc..
What did seem interesting though is one of the recent aquired projects for zero consideration (the name of which escapes me) that Mr B has already found to contain mineralisation, looks a little more interesting to me than blue moon, infact so does Timor.
Get the feeling theres a lot more going on behind the scenes as the company had cash in the bank prior to the raise (now nicely in the money @0.7) so no doubt somethings being lined up ready for a good song and dance..
Worth baring in mind though that any future project coming into the company, could actually be suprisingly good ??
As such a £2-3m Mcap is cheap, all day long
Craig has been stuck with the existing projects since joining, so plenty to play for
Really? have another read, 25m shares for 1.1??p once above 1.7??p (ish), management pool
About £260k worth (I think) if exercised..
Gets around a closed period and above current sp with target incentives!
They have something to work for
Last grades on the weak side, but expecting a new project and a new face on the board.. (hence possible closed period and share structure) is my thought/opinion
Doesn't seem like drilling at Monte Cristo should be too far away now, hopefully with some positive grades from bung bong too. Still expecting a decent run of news over the next few months..
That would be a nice surprise Tamer, although in terms of the re starting of operations last year, if there have been 3rd parties looking around the area I don't expect much on ground activities to have taken place.. but I would have expected plenty of talks taking place. If the falcon deal were to go through (with Esperanza), it wouldn't take much to assume some interest from them. From memory the estimate was around +100koz currently and the intended drilling was hoped to move that to 200/300koz so even a conservative $30/oz in ground sale would indicate some value. Or a possible jv/offtake agreement. Either way its been quiet for some time. If the wait continues with that, only thing I see to get things moving is the Aus drilling in the relative near term!
Credit where its due, good to see an update or two last week on the Aus assets. I get the feeling that after last years couple of drill holes didn't make the grade, a little review and second opinions were looked for. Positive to note funded drilling to take place soon.. Still not a word on SLM though which is interesting, cant help think a sale or jv would be useful, might be worth keeping an eye on what happens here, for those interested http://www.falcongold.ca/s/news.asp?ReportID=804305
